love the bit right at the end. Vieira and keane smiling. Though they were mortal enemies on the field, you know there was a mutual respect there all the way.
My dream team.. Cantona , Ibrahimovic, Effenberg, Zidane, Keane, Viera, Gattuso, Pepe, Stam, Ramos, Kahn The opponent probably will never show up on the pitch. Lol
Lifelong Liverpool fan here but I have immense respect for Keano. His dedication and passion were unmatched and every minute on the pitch was battle time for him. He played for the shirt and the badge and not for personal glory. We need hard, uncompromising men like him back in the PL as it's mostly pansies and drama queens now.
The best of Roy Keane.A midfield giant and the heartbeat of Manchester United for years. His fierce will to win and desire made him the best in Europe around the 1999-2001 period when he was at his best
@@aserlongas9819Ignorant comment. He bossed it over some unbelievable midfields in that era, and he's underrated as a player because he added zero flash to what he did. He still played accurate forward passes, was a very positive footballer, held possession easily in tight situations, and the vast majority of his tackles were clean. The only attribute that wasn't high was style, and that's why he was never recognised the way he deserved. He was one of the best midfielders in the world in his prime. People say Zidane was better but Keane outshone Zidane in the most important game they played against each other (Juventus 99).

Roy Keane performed at a high level more often than any player in the history of the PL. Keane just didn't do bad games like some of his peers. He didn't have the natural talent of a Gascoigne or Le Tissier but he was a consistent 8 out of 10 in almost every game. And then occasionally he would throw in a 9. He also had that rare ability that Bryan Robson had in bucket-loads where he could transform the play of his team mates just by being there. In summary Roy Keane is THE most influential player the PL has ever seen. This is not a debate. No-one comes anywhere near his level of commitment and consistency over such a long period. He was the ultimate professional!!!
thats right his level of being edgy and not to explode is unique but his starts sometimes was to brutal(he could made it less harsh) and thats was very unprofessional so no he was not for football at all
True though I have to give a mention to cantona just for what he did for united during their first period of dominance-united had 2 teams at that time,1 with eric and 1 without him.....
Neutral Observer. His passing ability should not be overlooked. He was incredibly consistent with his short passing game and very rarely passed the ball sideways or backwards when United needed to attack.
Unbelievable player, the work rate of Keano alone was outstanding, he could run up and down that pitch for 90 minutes and would still have energy to kick some ass and take names. I don't think we'll ever see the like of Keane again, which is a shame
SLaVe2ThEsYsTeM they never said that about maradona . you just lied . please attach link . he was exceptional but don't remember hearing that particular line

Maradonna was the driving force behind his country winning the world cup in 1986. Messi is yet to perform consistently on the international stage. Maradonna was also the driving force behind Napoli's Italian league successes. That's the equivalent of winning the English league with Stoke. Messi won competitions with Barcelona? He was greatly helped by playing in front of Xavi and Iniesta.
Roy Keane is one of my favourite players ever. He could turn a losing game into a win - the most famous example of this being in the 1999 Champions League semi-final v Juventus - where he became known as 'the legend of Turin'. Manchester United were losing 2-0 until Keane 'took the game by the horns' and scored a vital 'Captains goal'. United went on to win 3-2 and then the Treble (including the Champions League) that season and the rest is history. Roy Keane -Priceless!
one man that stays true to his word an if it comes down to it will always fight for you nothink but respect it means more than just football a game trust me
I saw millions of footballer play, someone had great speed, or technique or phisicuty or charism or were very hard boiled but Keane is another level, he was really the best of all.
United could do with him now! Love Roy Keane's total commitment and dedication to winning and putting 100% effort into every game, along with his footballing skills.
Amazing player. Contributed to bringing Manchester United a lot of success. One of the best midfield players of his generation. By the way I'm a Liverpool supporter
That last scene where Keane and Viera smile at each other gave me a whole new perspective of the tunnel bust up. Crazy how the media never showed these parts in the documentaries.
I seen most of Roy's games home and away over the years. As well as being hard as fuck he is the most consistant player i have ever seen. Man of the match in 90% of games he played in.
Footballer's even in Keanes days are sheltered little puppies who believe their hard because they fight with other little sheltered boys. Rock Hard man.
Keane is one of a kind of player , a devil in him, not after he joined United... more than a hard man but overwhelmed kinda of sort, not even SAF can handle him on the pitch. He has a personality of not losing one bid, I'm like, loving his every strength of shit in him. Sadly, we can't find any of current players in Jose's team now.

The A.R.C & sidb37 or just maybe gerrard knew not to fuck with the only true psycho to step on the pitch 😂😂😂
Not like Gerrard could do anything if he wanted to. Unless he hired the Liverpool underworld. Again...
Proper centre midfield general business!
in that game Gerrard was in his physical prime and Keane was definatley over the hill quote a while and Keane dominated Gerrard all game.
