He is saying absolutely right thing. I started my career with tcs in 2020 and fortunately my role was a frontend role so I started learning it and gradually from 2022 suddenly I started getting multiple opportunities. Made my switch in 2022 to a product based org just on basis of front end. Now with just 2.4 years of work ex I am getting multiple offers of 24-26 lpa. To anyone who wants to become good at front end my tip will be go deep with Javascript and future is really bright in this field.

For a right candidate, big companies are paying like anything. While salaries of front end developers get saturated relatively quickly

dsa is mandatory for front end . Since you are a front end dev interviewer expects you to write code in only JS. I suggest practice leetcode questions on js rather than any other language. I have given 200+ interviews on front end starting from service based , small to mid size product based . I have even appeard for jobs outside india. I have 6 + yrs exp in front end . I regret being a front end engineer. I have applied to all good companies for last 3 years but never recieved a call. I tried putting java in my resume with spring boot and I started getting calls from faang level companies . Frontend has very less scope, you will get calls only from startups and service based companies . No one will take you seriously in office as people think there is no complexity in front end and eventually you will end up as underpaid or you have to switch lot of jobs to get a good salary. Learn java and dsa your future will be bright ,dont listen to youtube gurus.

Basic HTML CSS learn kr with projects hardly 1 months ka kaam hey and after if you get comfortable with HTML CSS go for javascript and side by side use javascript with HTML CSS to make projects
( Learn javascript enough or fully go through all concepts because JavaScript is base for frontend libraries like React so make a strong base on JavaScript .) Side by side
Learn Database technologies like SQL just 15 days process. Nad also start learning Node Js with javascript which is essential for backend make projects with all combined. You will be confident for placement 👍 . Atleast give 8 hours a day for learning.
And you can learn Python after that for the technical coding round because JavaScript is not allowed for coding rounds.

He won't give you answer to that since he's only made this video to grow his channel. He's not interested in your worries or about the job market, look at all his answers in comments almost all of them are saying that he'll talk about that in his next video. Java is very demanding and has been for a very long time, learn java web development also do dsa using java and then you can also learn html css js and react. Database mysql, mongodb is also in demand for nosql. Front end is very vast and not many in india have achieved the level that is on web, it is still growing. One thing for sure you gotta be artistic and good with designs, themes, decorations in general to be a very good front end engineer in long term if you are then definitely start with front end. If you don't know if you are artistic enough in general then go with java web dev and dsa first and foremost.
And yes don't get too obsessed with dsa cuz only doing that won't get you a job, will help you clear rounds, get real job skills that includes dsa but it's a part of it. Developing full basic application is the whole thing you should try to focus on most part of it if you're a beginner
