Just sold my 2008 Ram and bought a 2020 k1500 silverado. The Ram had Magna Flow and raspy/ loud. Silverado stock and quiet. I am loving the no sound! For now....
Only way I’d upgrade my exhaust is guaranteed no drone. People don’t realize that drone can cause migraines and literally make your health go south just driving your truck.
You actually CAN push both pipes forward and backward enough to get the delete pipe in there without loosening that front joint making it back to a one man job, just put a little muscle to it. Did the delete on my 2020 as well, just looking around at others videos. Cheers

No, manufacturers allow you to change the exhaust from the cats back. It's only when you go to extractors and high flow cats that you upset the drive line warranty
@kuluinmufflers4100 I have an issue with those valves rattling on my 2018 silverado. When you took those out for this muffler delete did you have to do anything with the computer or whatever to make it run after to trick the computer into thinking they were still installed
Well GM service information states it might cause issues if you cut this all out.. Important: Use of non-OEM parts may cause driveability concerns. I took a picture from GM Service information but I cant post a pic in comments.
Anything after the cats is not going to cause any drive ability issues, only thing it's guna cause is sound and little better flow. You won't get a check engine light or issues the secondary o2 sensors monitor cat efficency so there's no worries of check engine light either. Those stupid valves rattle after a while, my father has a 2019 silverado 1500 5.3 an his has started rattling so I'm going to be removing it and either putting a highflow muffler or delete the muffler completely. Good chunk of weight savings too removing the muffler.
That thing sounds crisp. Love the smooth deep tone.
I went with the full muffler delete on my 2018 and 2022 did make quite a big difference in the tone!
after owning a raspy loud mustang for the past 6 years i love how quiet my truck is

They are a good truck, better than the Womble clock design
Heard lots of stories but how does that affect active fuel management in a 5.3? And more importantly how's it affect your warranty
Hi,
I'm not sure about the 5.3 but the 6L it is totally fine. As far a warranty goes, as long as the exhaust is modified after the cats it is ok.
Does it drone at 1400 rpm?
Wish u were in the US id buy one
Hi,
If you send me an email to exhausts@kuluinmufflers.com.au I can help you there.
Cheers

How bad is the drone on the hi way? Any popping at deceleration?
It definitely pops on deceleration, very V8 super car in that way. As for the drone, Yes the delete pipe does drone a bit.
Great video. Thanks👍

I dont see this on your ebay store for a 2018 silverado LT 5.3L
We have a listing on our we page as well but im pretty sure it's only for the 6L
Does it affect the warrantee on the vehicle?
No, manufacturers allow you to change the exhaust from the cats back. It's only when you go to extractors and high flow cats that you upset the drive line warranty
Any idea what rims those are? I like them
Hi by any chance do u know what lights those are on the back bumper
I'm interested to know what brand as well.
They come standard on the Australian delivered 1500 / 2500 Silverados
Does the muffler/flapper delete cause issues with the truck? Check engine light, computer codes?
No, it doesn't make any difference to the computer
So you made that? It’s not an available part?
If you remove the muffler and the valves will it still pass a state inspection in Texas?
yes, it has nothing to do with inspection, at least in Pa it doesn't
You have a piece of brownie stuck in your valve
What year did they start with them flappers
@Kuluin Mufflers u got this setup for a 2016 ?

I have a chevy 2500 8.1 gas with 39 thousand miles on it. Anybody know what a muffler delete would sound like on it?
Probably pretty loud. Id be putting a small muffler in that
How much is it for the muffler delete pipe?
Its $280 and you can find it on our ebay store
$20 just get a 2.5” pipe from auto zone
