      If u have experience you can go to the commit and edit the neccesary files, this is the link github.com/gh0stzk/dotfiles/commit/a54e3ddea41441cab5ba5959011b006b89c6fdfe
      But this way may be tedious and you will need to edit alot.
      The easy way just clone again the repo and copy paste the dirs. You can do it manually or use the installer, move the installer to home, dont forget that.
      The music player i use is ncmpcpp and works with mpd daemon, if u use my installer before, that apps must be installed in your system. I made a wiki for configure that github.com/gh0stzk/dotfiles/wiki/Firsts-steps-after-installing the buttoms to play in polybar is a mpd module.

    Alright, hope you see this.
    I'm an absolute newbie with no idea about what the heck to do. After scrolling around in r/Unixporn, I met your post and thought this seems easy just used your dots.
    I made a VM, used archinstall to install Arch (obviously) and then, curled, gave perms and then ran the script.
    It downloaded everything and the dots as well, it moved every single dotfile from the repo to the required directory. However after rebooting to make zsh default, I saw no changes.
    There was just zsh and its 'thing' and nothing but the login prompt and the 'Arch default terminal-ass thingy which I don't know the name of' and I have no idea whatever the heck to do.
    As I mentioned, it's a VM, and yet I have very little idea of whatever I'm doing.
    I can't even launch alacritty by typing it in, there's some sort of damn error. I ran the script twice and yet, there was no smegsie polybar, wm, rofi menu, or just the wallpaper, just damn ARCH TERMINAL THING. I wanna ask you, linux wizard, in a two-way manner, please spare some time for me in Discord or some other online platform.
    I'd love your help.

    Hola, estoy usando manjaro, despues de asegurarme que tengo Xorg y lightdm corri tu script y todo corrio bien, pero no vi ningunos cambios aparte de la configuracion de zsh y el theme de firefox, verifique el config file de BSPWM y todo esta bien, y tambien corri los scripts dentro del config y nada. Intente usar los shortcuts para el selector y no funciono pero si pude correrlo manualmente pero cuando intente seleccionar uno de los themes me dice "Failed to connect to socket". Alguna recomendacion, me encantaria poder usar tus setups. Gracias por el buen trabajo.

      Algunas otras personas han llegado con el mismo problema que tu, al parecer es por los locales configurtados en tu sistema, puedes intentar regenerandolos wiki.archlinux.org/title/locale
      Puedes escribir localectl en tu terminal y decir que locales estas usando

    • @LEBR27
      @LEBR27  11 месяцев назад

      Despuers de eso, escribe en tu terminal RiceSelector y mira si ya púedes cambiar de tema.

    • @LEBR27
      @LEBR27  Год назад

      Try with arandr archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/arandr/
      My dotfiles do not modify any configuration of your system, they only change the bash shell for zsh. there must be some error in your graphic drivers or some other configuration.

      @LEBR27  Год назад +1

      You need to have installed xorg, your graphics driver, and a login manager like lightdm. Maybe for you that are new to linux, arch is too much for now, you can try endevour is arch but easy install.
