Great video/10 great concepts…unfortunately I would have flunked the quiz…makes total sense regarding the correct move(s) once explained by you. Damnation, I can see I have a lot to learn and understand! You are an awesome teacher/player… keep up the “beautiful” videos, Dan!
Shared this with my wife who was a huge chess aficionado until recently. Now she shares our obsession 😅 She “gets it now” were her words after you explained what I couldn’t in a very detailed manner. We’re playing 5 point matches every night on a Silverman board thanks to content like this. Thanks man, love your work!
Another great video Dan. BTW I checked some third rolls searching for non hitting plays with the 53. This is what I found: Third roll: X-54S-53. Opening play which makes the non-hitting (8-3 6-3) 3rd roll correct: 41S (duplicating fours) /51S (unstacks)/54S (unstacks)/65R (One man back)
Thanks Dan. This was excellent. Got 5 of them correct but also a big blunder on duplication. Very simple and very useful.
Thank you and glad you found it useful
Great lesson thanks.
Welcome

Thank you for your continued support, David. Be great to do a face-to-face lesson with you at some point. Best wishes.
I just started playing backgammon, and I have to say, “Thank you!!”
Your videos are extremely helpful!
Glad that you have joined the channel. Best wishes
Really enjoying your latest series of videos Dan. You’re great at finding examples that illustrate your points really well. Much appreciated!
Thank you

Yes, there are some replies such as 61, 22 etc where you don't hit on your 5pt, but these are the exception rather than the rule
👍❤️ Great video huge help in thinking and understanding! 🍻 cheers!
Always welcome
Hello Dan, great video as always. Make the 2. 6. and 9. wrong; and have internalized well-known concepts even better!!! THX😀
Thank you, Wolfgang
Thanks, just the information I need!
You're welcome, Kent
In the 6th game, if white was in 9th instead of 10th, would Bar/24, 8/6 have been the first choice?
Yes, the top move would remain the same. It's Bar/24* 22/20 in both cases
Eleven concept is defending but that´s too easy.-)
