My son is half Irish and Half Mexican, we go to LA to visit El Pino from Chicago. It's our annual son and father trip. He is still too young to understand it, he is only 8 but my whole family calls him Miklo. Shit at this point that should be his first name. Just a beautiful feeling when people down in L.A. show us love and make us feel welcomed. Latinos unidos like Cruz said. On a side not if not mistaken Benjamin's daughter was sick and pretty bad if I recall correctly it took a toll on his body and mind, I'm sure. Think he quit acting to take care of her. I often see a photo of him which yes he looks different but under the circumstances any parent who is a real parent will not look the same after that battle. I was in a 7th grade when this came out such a classic and it was right on point in the early 90s there will never be a another child hood like we had, just a short example!!
