She played "Beast of Burden" and "Let's Stay Together" with Tony Rich, "Right Hand Man" with her band, and was part of group ensemble with Peter Gabriel on "In Your Eyes" that included Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Didn't like "One Of Us", saw this and have loved her since.
Just love Joan Osborne’s voice, I have to add it to my list ,the falsetto of Prince,Luther Vandross voice,Boy George voice,Dennis Edwards ( Temptations) voice,I’m leaving some out but these voices,there’s just something about all of them

I hate the nose rings, too. Took me a while to get used to it on one of my favorite singers (Joan). The weird thing is one of my sons has one, now... so I have to get used to it all over again...
