Malia or Mallia is a coastal town and a former municipality in the northeast corner of the Heraklion regional unit in Crete, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reforms it is part of the municipality of Hersonissos, of which it is a municipal unit. It lies 34 kilometres east of Heraklion, the Cretan main city.

Cheers!
Loved malia. Went with friends back in 2002. Nice to see it again 👌🏻
OMG Malia I left my heart there just love this place Thankyou so much Zameer
Thanks for the comment!
Love the 'cat bonding' part. If I would live in Crete I think I would be surrounded by many many cats. Love them 😺
Thanks for your comment 😁!
Another great video. Thanks for all of your explanations about what things are and where the streets lead. I am learning so much about Crete from your videos. My wife and I want to visit one day. Beautiful. Thanks.
Glad you like them! I wish you all the best 😊
Nice walk around Malia ... Thank you Zameer ✌👍
You are most welcome!
As always i really love watching your videos Zameer, Thank you so much for your friendly and honest look on life. We will be back in Crete later in the year and we hope that Greece has a very successful year for tourism.
It's my pleasure! I wish you all the best!
Goede avond, hello from a dutch speaking follower from Belgium :-), who is currently learning Greek. You pronounce the dutch words very well. Tot binnenkort in Malia.
Thank a lot for the comment! I am practicing 😁
@@zameerpactyan Ben jij een Griek?
Hi Zameer, many thanks for sharing yet another great video here with us which I thoroughly enjoyed watching as usual. As for improving your English, please find below a few remarks once again:
1.Instead of saying 'these flowers do not get old' it is better to say 'these flowers do not wither'(to wither means to go bad)
2.A taxi you can 'hire'......
Best wishes and cordial greetings from William in Bruges,Belgium
Many thanks for the comment! happy to learn something new too :) Peace
Alright, Alright, Alright, mate. When i'm on crete in august and i catch you somewhere, you are invited to a big cold beer. Keep healthy my friend 😎😎
Cheers mate! sure why not :)
Could you shoot another video of Malia end of April? We will be there from the 18th of may and I would have a better idea of what is open and what not.. And please make a driving video!!
thanks for the comment! sure I will ✌☺
Ready for holidays season )
Almost! Yaaay
Hi Zameer :) I really enjoy your videos. Is Malia suitable for a family trip? I know that it's promoted more for parties but thinking to come with the little one this year.
Malia is much better for singles and partners, I suggest Stalis for family, Malia is 15 min walk from Stalis.
@@zameerpactyan ah thank you. Stalis doesn't look to good, i enjoy a bit of old town maze and seems that Stalis doesn't have it. Last year we stayed in Koutouloufari :)
Very nice Tour
Thanks for liking
Are there any Chinese restaurants in Malia love your videos x
Yes!
😂cool chlip
Hi Zameer, are the shops and bars now open on the main street? Looks deserted in the video.
Now that Greece has eased the restrictions, I would like you to be in Malia during the low season. I wonder if it's quieter in pubs and similar places, or is it always only partying all time?
It will be!
Then maybe I meet you 😂? I'm going down in a few days or so 🤗😂
The UK has opened up to all. There is no reason why Crete can't open up for this Summer . 2 years of hell is now behind us all.
Yes, what to say... Only good news I can share is that some restrictions will be lifted here too: www.ekathimerini.com/news/1182146/greece-lifts-covid-restrictions-for-summer-tourism-season/
Great to see Malia again with your eyes! Just one question - why you're wishing "Χρόνια πολλά" to almost everybody in Malia?
Because it was independence day 😁😇 thanks for the comment! I will keep uploading updates on Malia
@@zameerpactyan oh, it was on 25th of March? Everything will come to life in Malia about beginning of May, usually...
Visiting in May . Could you make a video End of April or Beginning of May, 2022
I'm planning on revisiting Malia for sure! Thanks for your comment!
🤣🤣lekker ding 🤣🤣ik kijk graag naar je video,s een fijne avond voor jou en je vrouw..
Ik schrijf dit in het Nederlands 🤗 is beter voor je als je de taal wil leren 🥳
Dankjewel! Happy I still have Google to help translate your comment 😄! Fijne vakantie voor wanneer je naar Kreta komt!
Malia is still one of my favorites! Hope we can come this summer if there are no longer stupid restrictions for unvaccinated 🙏☀️
Get Vaxed then, not all about you, it's about trying to protect others from it that are less healthy!!!
Thanks for the comment!
You are a man of my heart!!! When was this video recorded? Because I read that the mask mandates for outside wearing has ended somewhere in the beginning of March. I'm from the Netherlands and I want to escape fascism and record high energy prices. Our government made a law now that they can take our private homes. Communism is being installed. Do you think it is safe where you are? If yes, I'm coming over and buy a house there.
Thanks for the comment! Crete is a great place to live!
By the way 'Proficiat met jouw Nederlands'(Congrats with your Dutch)..lol:))))
Thank you! I am trying Lol
Nice video. We like Malia. Will you go next time go to the way of Stallis? We like the restaurants: Kalispera and Paradise and supermarket Steffi. Can you walk there to the beach next to Hotels Ammos and Theo Star? We are from Holland and we have laugh about your dutch words. We have another nice word for you: lul (it means dick haha). And: cat in dutch is kat (men cat) or poes (woman cat). Bye en greatings from Holland
Haha thanks for the comment! And your help with the Dutch language 😅 😬
you walk with us 38 min. through an empty and boring town???
Thanks for the comment! it was a pleasure 😀😀
