- In this vlog I make the move into my new studio space! I first work out what i will be bringing to the new house and what i need to fit in. I purchase heaps of flat packs from kmart to make the space happen. I bring over 400 different fabrics and try to find room for them all in a space half the size than im used to. I manage to fit my sticker printer, invoice and parcel printer, cricut machine, laminator and more into my 'office' section and im able to utilise the rest of the space for fabric and materials. Im very happy with my massive desk in the middle of the room it works great for my sewing machines, packaging orders and of course admin work! Im also loving all my fabric storage

Awesome job 🙌 and yes it was definitely a wild ride last week. No power, internet and phones for 2 days at Inverloch.
You can get proper electrical cord floor covers. Try OfficeWorks or RSEA or some other OH&S sort of place. It’s like a little speed hump for the cord. Chair will roll over it and everything with out damage and will reduce tripping. Take care 🌺

Love your new set up❤️...you can add pins📍to the fabric when you wrap around your boards and it won’t come undone when you pull from the shelf.
There are clear alligator clips you can get from Amazon to clip onto your fabric to keep them connected to the comic book boards. They're like $17 for 1,000 and you only need 1 per fabric.
I enjoyed watching your video and it has inspired me to seriously get organized in my craft area
My mom also did the wrapping of fabric around those boards. It takes forever!

The Arizona teas are good. the actual teas though. I also do not like the watermelon or fruit punch or mango flavors because they are more like juice in my opinion. If you like brewed tea flavors try the Arizona Lemon tea or the Arizona Raspberry Tea.
The island sewing table is a really good idea!
You may be able to find day light led lights at a hardware store. They do not take up a lot of electricity but since they come in different brightness you can really make it as bright as you like.

How funny! The character Radar on the TV show MASH always drank grape Nehi! Had no idea they still made it.
It’s soooo good! I actually chose it because I was doing a puzzle that was of old bottle caps recently and recognised it when I went to the shop 😂

I would stack more cubes on top of the fabric for more on cardboard. Do what you can reach and use the higher ones for storage

I have been struggling to organise my office in a way that "brings me joy". Watching this is very inspiring, as your room looks to be a similar size/layout to mine. It's frustrating as it feels like I don't have a lot of wall space - one wall is almost completely taken up by a window, the opposite wall is broken by the sliding door and then another wall is two big built in wardrobes. So working out the perfect layout is a challenge. It doesn't feel wide enough to have an island in the middle, but maybe it is! Perhaps I just need to strip everything out and start with a clean slate! Your video has given me some great ideas. Kmart for the win! ;)

I hate when you get items that are damaged. I had a bookshelf that the box even looked perfect but I opened it and it was all cracked! Thankfully Walmart swapped it out no issues!

I have an elna 550 experience sewing machine, Elna air artist embroidery machine and a singer 4423 sewing machine. I have a canon pixma 3560 and TR8660. I go through my studio in depth in my studio tour that’ll be coming out next week!
I enjoy editing videos! I don’t really have any other hobbies to be honest 🥰

It’s not to bad! It’s different compared to what I’m used to but it’s still a good height. I think it looks lower than it is I had the same thought when they were built!
