All that is in that check valve is a light spring and rubber puck. The cap should almost be easy enough to unscrew by hand. Try cleaning it out and possibly change the rubber puck. You can sometimes re-stretch the spring, if it needs it.

Hello Friend, If you look on the video at about 4:49 I talk about the pressure control switch. If you have the cut out set incorrectly, the compressor will shut off due to excessive pressure. I adjusted it slowly to get the correct setting and it helped my compressor consistently run. Read the directions on the box cover to properly adjust the switch. I hope the rest of the video helps you figure out what is happening with your compressor!

My compressor starts then stops and cuts the fuse, what can it be? Checked the capacitors all working fine.
