Only con is the interior wears out pretty fast. Got full spec 3.0 GT-G. Spoiler, moonroof, all electric, full leather. Leather wears out faaast.

I just bought a manual 05 altezza 6spd just over a month ago its fun ...i had a auto for 4 years before i have my eyes on a soarer atm hopefully before summer 😎
@@segasonicchoas you must not be from the states. we never got a 6 speed altezza. just 5 speed is300 with 2jz. i prefer the looks and interior of the altezza, but i also like the slightly more simplistic engineering of the older soarer.
@@segasonicchoas and yes the auto is so tempting so me and the wife can have a spare vehicle on the rare occasions her rolla needs some work done on it, plus it would make a great vacation vehicle, but the potential of the 2j just really begs for a manual transmission

@@segasonicchoas At least you got a manual altezza, i have neither and have to wait a few more years till i graduate cause money is tight. i have a 97 tacoma 5 speed. Love that truck to death but also hate daily driving a slow truck. In my opinion the soarer, after modification of course, looks better than the altezza. plus my favorite era of cars is definitely 90's JDM, especially Toyotas and Nissans.
Japanese cars have been way ahead with There cars.

I have seen one of these for sale, but it has the V8 in it with an auto-box. I would want to sack that auto box out pretty sharp and do a manual conversion! Only prob with that is I have no idea what I am doing lol.

Just moved on from a 98 S3 r154 Soarer to an EVO 5, so this is amusing. Goodluck running that CT15b at 15psi on limiter. They run ceramic wheels stock and have tendency to blow up north of 14psi. Would suggest getting a hiflow (with steel wheel) and enjoying more power at the same boost level.
And still makes more power than evo

Jesse get a MX-5! Cheap, Learn to skid in a lower powered car, then maybe cheap turbo kit? Maybe get a NC1/MK3.0 to kinda match with your MPS?

If your going to blur your face blur your arms and top could easily be linked if they wanted to. Plus your numberplate is on show. If you don't want to be fined or section 59 keep your numberplate off screen just for your protection

Stick a Holset hx35, EMU black on it. Get 450bhp. Completely changes the car and removes that underpowered feeling soarers and jzx suffer with
I actually found myself looking at one here in FL. It might seem like I’m crazy but I’ve been thinking for trading in my Gt86 for the soarer.
When the GT86 was new and expensive, I never understood why people weren't getting Soarers instead.
