@@konholio2 What I meant by "the french Golf" is the fact that everyone in France know the clio and already drove it or sat on in once in their life, I'm french and my dad owned the twingo Mk2 Phase II and the clio Mk4 but not RS versions.

Denzil Thurton I haven’t looked for a while but I do own one so welcome it! Mine owes me literally a few hundred (and most of that is what I spent servicing it when I got it), really nice car all original paint and never modified. Had been left on prev owners drive for over a year when they got a family car, when they moved house it was offered to me in exchange for help. All I had to do was get two other cars to their new house 1/2 mile away. Cost me a battery and some time to do that! I intended to sell it straight away but I’ve prob had it nearly 2 years! Lot cheaper to run than my imprezas.

Hondas vtec is a high revving engine his power band is top end revs. Plus clios are savage very underrated nowadays

Gumpy 49 ye but hondas are literally asleep until the vtec kicks in. More so than the Clio. I used to have a 1.8 16v clio mk1 if I drove it right off the mark I would still eat a lot of cars

Why on Earth does Jesse mash the limiter? Losing power every gear, should be changing at 7500rpm. EP3 should never be getting smoked that bad, its downto poor driving technique.

Jesse just realised his Honda isn't fast. Having owned an S2000 with about 40bhp more, all the noise of V-tec makes the car feel faster than they are. No torque at all.

Literally exactly the same, I've had a Honda itch for years, all throughout my childhood basically, loved the ek9 and the dc5, but my first ever Honda was an s2000, and after that I'll never get another Honda, it's the lack of torque on the honda motors that is a huge issue for me, having to drop 2 gears instead of one just to go round a granny on the road screaming at 9000 rpm. Never again lol

exactly.Driver is very important.EP3's vtec point is higher up than the FN2s.Not to mention with a custom map the FN2 point will mostly be lowered even more.Mine works best and is set at 5000 rpm/5400 rpm with moderate throttle.
You can hear him drop out of VTEC, he definitely was shifting early

Should have kept the vixer 😂 would demolish the Clio, the civic has no torque, Yh all that vtec bollocks but at the end of the day, it’s still fairly slow for a 197bhp car. The vxr on the other hand, actually feels quick and is quicker. Your face though when the clio pulled away is priceless.

From experience it is extremely funny when you see someone who’s spent £4k on a sick jdm yo ep3 and then I come past in the £950 160k mile clio 172. Massive laugh to say the least. But then I did bin that clio in a hedge last weekend.

The Type R’s are nice, just a tad overrated in my opinion... I have a Corsa VXR as a weekend toy. Once they are forged and you spend a little time and money on them, they are amazing cars. It’s just unfortunate they come with the P4 stigma 😂

Thats why I came here, Jesse is full of crap and he knwos it, thats why he turned off the comments. He now wants a rematch starting at 40mph because it will be more suited to his car.
In all seriousness the EP3 is a decent car, but it just isn't fast. The Clio is old and decrepid and lost many horses over the years without doubt, but its still quicker.
Jesse, just leave it mate, your car is still nicer than the Clio, not as fast, but that is life. The rematch crying video is embarrassing, you should have just accepted that you lost and carried on with life, but that video will just make people turn off from your channel.
