Car is a 1991 Toyota Soarer
1JZ Non-VVTi
Borg Warner S200-SXE 57mm
Custom 3.5" into twin 2.5" exhaust
R154 gearbox
MCA coilovers, Whiteline swaybars, all new bushes etc...
Microphones are Rode Lavalier GO (wired) with wind socks/deadcats.

Yeah maybe I'll do a walk around! It's a Borg Warner S257SX-E on a 6boost T4 divided manifold. Custom 3.5 dump with Turbosmart 50mm gate plumbed in, 3" into twin 2.5 exhaust with magnaflow mufflers.
Around what rpm are you getting full boost? Sounds awesome
0psi at 2000rpm
Full boost by high 3s or so? Hard to say for sure, haven't had it on the dyno
It has a stock ecu and only a manual boost controller, so could definitely be improved! In this video the catalytic converter was blocked (found out later) so that wasn't helping things either lol

Nice! Same generation engine as mine, similar suspension mods. I’m still on the stock twins, though. I want to live with them for a minute before I go down the big single route. Work out all the bugs from the swap, then upgrade.

I just swapped mine. It’s so smooth and the boost is never laggy. Compared to my Celica Turbo and my MR2 Turbo, it’s just so much more civilized.
nice snore , how is the car exhaust ? are you using sized exhaust manifold? pipe is straight?
6boost T4 tubular manifold (this made a huge difference to sound), turbo rear housing is 0.83.
From there it's a 3.5" dump into 3" front pipe, 100 cell cat, then splits into twin 2.5" pipes just before the diff, and then ends with 2x Magnaflow 14236 mufflers with 4" tips (1 per side as its twin exit). Whole system is stainless.
Turbo sounds like a vaccume how's it so loud
Remember, there is a microphone in the engine bay/near turbo intake

What diff are you running in the rear? Have a Kazz 1.5 but the chatter is annoying.

Just bought a '93 Mark II, also Non-VVTi 1jz, and your setup sounds mint.
I'm gonna be going for around 450-500hp at first, but god damn yours sound good
Still stock ECU, only went single turbo because the twins died! Should make 300kw at the wheels on 98 (USA 93) with the stock cams.

I'm probably gonna be going single before the twins die, mostly for the sound haha, I don't even know how much power the stock twins can handle :p
@@RockyyPlays Turbo is good for around 650hp at engine. The single definitely sounds better than the twins! Stock twins - limiting factor is the heat/back pressure created by stock dump pipe.
@@Z30JZ That sounds gooood, might be that kinda turbo i'm going for at first then, i've been told 450-500 is the max they can hold reliably on stock internals and stuff :D
@@RockyyPlays stock internal 1jz's will hold 800hp+, but the question is for how long! They are very old engines.
