That's too bad. Can I ask a few questions?
Did you remove the negative battery cable? This will reset the computer back to OEM specs and the computer will learn all over again, it takes about 200 miles of driving.
Check to make sure there is a gasket on the new sensor or the intake tube.
Check the clamps on the air intake system maybe they are loose.
Plus, if you have a K&N filter that you just cleaned and re-oiled, an over oiled filter can cause this problem since the oil can be sucked on to the sensor and cause a code and a bad idle.
So far as of today I still have not had any issues with my sensor. I do have a dry filter media on my GM performance air intake system.
I will never use K&N filters again; I was going through sensors at least one every year & a half with my Pontiac Firebird due to an over-oiled K&N and that was my fault.
I hope this helps and if it is a bad sensor I'm sure they will send you a new one.

@@HowtowithPaulHenderson didn’t think to try that. Has been running good for the past 5 months and just recently at ideal completely die. Put the stock one back in and zero issues. Called jet and they warranty it so figure go that route. Ya I have a cai and a stillen air scope. All good info sir.

@@trailbosschrispayne5454 Oh I thought that sensor was just installed, and the issue started right away. sounds like a defective unit. Just be sure to remove the negative battery terminal prior to install, before disconnecting the negative cable make sure that the ON-Star light is off otherwise the battery will die for the On-Star back-up system.

@@HowtowithPaulHenderson it maybe but in also looked at the gasket and it didn’t look like it was setting in there right so maybe that’s the issue since it’s only at idle. Stock mass air flow has my truck running perfect but I do miss the jet one lol def wakes up the added mods. I’ll reply back once I get a new one. Thanks for the helpful info
