I’m a ex sonar technician for a quite sophisticated modern navy, and the people I speak to say this sub hasn’t been intercepted yet. I remember when Russia took out the cheetah, a akula version 3 submarine, I remember all of NATo was out looking for her, but no one made contact with her. Russia submarine force scares me the most, anyway from the 80s onwards are some of the best sub out there.
There’s so many ignorant people out there, they think we have the best equipment, these people have no idea, our equipment are just over hyped and over priced

While the subs are ok when new the lack of maintenance makes them noisier the longer they are used for
