Hi Dave! Great build! How stable is the table with the slats? I can't see any guidance - you just have it guided by the lead screws, right? Especially if you put there a large sheet of 15mm acrylic!? I was wondering for my build if that is enough or if you would recommended two guiding rails on the sides or so? Have a great day!

The table has proven to be very stable, although ideally I would have liked to use a longer belt so the lead screws are in the 4 corners. It is guided by the lead screws I went to a lot of trouble to get those vertical. I have tried a 28lb weight on the table and it raises and lowers just fine. The Z NEMA 23 powers it well no slipage so far. 👍

    Hello,
Can you show me how to adjust the step for CO2 laser engraving machine using TB6600 driver and DLC32 circuit board. I searched for information online but could not find specific instructions on this issue

It's normally done in the software. I used Lightburn. If you Google 'lightburn calibrate axis' it will tell you.

So does the operating panel need a laptop or an SD type card? Using the A axis? eg Rotary one for tumblers etc? I was wondering how the beam stays in focus on the Z axis.

I'll focus it manually I've got a couple of pointer lasers I hope to use for that. The controller connects best over a network cable or you can use a thumb drive or USB. Also if you get a WiFi adapter it can do it that way too, it intigrates well with lightburn.

I just had bought half of the components and hope I can start with the buid of something similar to yours. At the beginning the plan was to do a frame with soldered aluminium beams but, imposible to solder so I changed my mind and will be like yours.

@@andreiandries3594 Sounds good, mine is a sort of organic build that is developing as I go. I'm working on the case at the moment and should do another video soonish.
