It’s kind of a blessing he didn’t get on Biggest Loser bc there’s a lot of controversy about the show using sketchy weight loss solutions behind the scenes and emotional abuse tactics that traumatize the players that leave them worse off afterwards and they gain all the weight back

It’s so true. There’s no other channel like it. It’s fun, it’s genuine and it makes you feel good. Deal or No Deal missed out on casting Scott. But Tommy is a gem, a struggler, and I’m so glad it worked out well for him!
One of the best things I have done in awhile was reaching out to Scott to do this collaboration it was a blast
@@tommy2liter448 I’m so glad you did! That is absolutely wild all of the things they make you do before getting chosen! I’m sure there’s some psychological reasons but I’ve seen some contestants that must have maybe frozen during the actual taping? Of course you don’t want everyone to be the same but that is so much work!
I’m impressed you actually did with the money what you said you would! More often than not they don’t and it’s sad how many people just use all of it for partying. And with housing prices, you made a good investment which is still small compared to how happy you made your parents. They did a great job raising you. The greatest thing to have in your life is love and it seems you’re surrounded with lots of it. Congrats on the weight loss too! 💜
Yes, I have my church family, but my actual friends have a close circle and I am surrounded by love. I won’t lie and say I didn’t party some of the money away but I also made sure I was smart with a good chunk of it and I’m an overall happy person.

Scott and his iconic Deal or No Deal lore
Getting convinced to audition for Deal or No Deal by Wee Man at a bar in his VIP section, actually getting on the show, then seeing a RUclips video made about you is insane lore. The first part alone is definitely a unique experience
Every aspect of my experience was 100% true and is crazy.. I have some many stories that most people wouldn’t even believe.

Tommy is the type of guy you want to see succeed after winning a lot of money on Deal or No Deal. He's humble and sweet. He had fun with the money while still using some of it to help his family and community. I hope him the best of luck going forward.

For those who don't know, Richard Hatch was the winner of Survivor season 1. He got into legal troubles for not paying the taxes on his winnings. Solid season. I highly recommend

I had writers block and couldn’t even get one paragraph down for like two or three days I didn’t know what they wanted or even start but actually once I started, I wrote 13 or 14 pages and I had to cut it down and I actually did I think 9 1/2

Also, Scott, you are an incredible interviewer, especially when you consider that it's so much harder to nonverbally communicate interest / active listening over video vs real life.

This video was such an easy watch! Tommy is a great storyteller, and as the interviewer, Scott did an incredible job of recognizing this, letting Tommy flow without interjecting while helping highlight the most interesting or crazy parts.
Thank you for your kind words …… I Forewarned Scott that I was a buzz saw, and that I would take over the conversation and I didn’t mean to that he would have to reel me in. we actually talked for about 90 minutes so he did a pretty good job of editing

What a great interview, so glad to hear his experience on the show was so positive that the car gag didn’t even register as rude. I definitely don’t think it justifies the bullying for entertainment purposes, but sometimes not even really being aware you’re being made the butt of the joke is the best outcome of a situation. For another person in a different scenario that gag could have felt incredibly humiliating. So glad to hear that wasn’t his experience.

I just get the feeling that they just ask for that to see how bad you want to be on the show lol they dont care what you write.. they just want to see if you'll do it 😂
