But after getting my new MAC, I needed to know some simple methods on how to clean my computer. This video definitely is easy to follow and very useful.

I just got rid of more than 90GB. It showed up as "other data" in my flash drive and I wasn't sure what it was. Now I know. And all of my programs and files still work, which was my biggest fear. This made my day. Thank you!

Thanks Claude one of the best tips I've seen, i just did it and had over 18k items. I never done it since i owned this machine and wow the internet is so much smoother and faster. Why don't people ever mention this? I guess im not that Mac savvy because on a PC its not this in depth to remove cache.

Great video Claude Pelanne, Thanking you sir:) I had 45,000files, though it is slow process once you decide to securely empty the trash can. But, Totally worth it. This is my 1st time ever doing this. Also, Want to let people know, You should also periodically run Disk utility and run Verify and repair permissions too. It helps with any Apps making mess on your systems installation.

To see your User Library hold the Option key while clicking on the Go menu. Library will now be in the menu.
