The glass piece with George would have been in the shape of an axe , The egg hold I think would have actually been an individual salt dish nice dig guys congrats
Another great day playing in the dirt! 😆😆😆 some awesome finds! Any cobalt catches my eye, but that big blue baby made me gasp a little😍😍😍😍 great looking bottle.
That clear poison bottle is a Diamond Antiseptic tablets from Eli lilly pharamaceutical Co out of Indianapolis Indiana. And yes the clear ones are rarer than the amber ones.I have a Eli lilly cabinet full of bottles from the company.
Finally got myself a Birmingham hutch like the one you mentioned in your dig at the end. Gives me a bit of connection with you guys when your digging now 😊
Nice Hunt, Brandon! I had to do a check in an old copy of Porter's Coke book on the 1915 Orange Texas bottle and it's listed as Rare....nice!!! That poison was sweet too! What a dump...and I say that in the best way! Congrats on the Bessemer hutch! Great video! Take care, be safe and God bless! (I believe that Washington item was a commorative piece made like a hatchet for him "cutting down the cherry tree"....I believe!)
Nicely done Brandon! Happy you guys found some definite keepers there for sure! Hope y’all have a wonderful St. Patrick’s day with your family! Thanks again for everything guys. Well worth the wait to watch 👍👍😎!
That Bessemer Hutch was awesome. The coolest for me was the eyewater bottle from New London, Connecticut. I live in New London County & work in New London, CT!!! Hope to see it again!
More Fantastic and Rare Bottles - we love that little Glass Egg Holder ? Wow - still You can get some Great Bottles if You know were to Dig ! Well done Everyone !!!! Many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
I have seen a lot of your videos where the bottles would Crack because the air temperature was higher than the ground temperature. It was interesting to see that it also happens the other way as well. Thanks for that bit of knowledge. Awesome videos as usual.
I stumbled across your video's on FB about a months ago. Have become addicted to watching them. Decided I would try you vids on here. I really enjoy watching them. In the summer months, I don't think you watch out enough cottonmouths in some of the places you stick your hands are tree limbs you walk under. Just be safe.
Brandon: A Scottish bottle-dump digger I watch does a celebratory "belter" dance whenever he finds amazing items! One of his favorite finds are poison bottles, & I was conditioned to expect you to do a "belter" dance after that clear poison bottle you showed! Your special bottle would have also qualified as a "belter"!!!
Hey guys . Looks like a good day for sodas . The little dish you figured might be an egg cup might be a salt dish . Looks like about the right size and shape . Thx for sharing
I think you found the honey hole. Don’t know that much about the bottles (but I’m learning) but it looks like you found some great ones. I loved the cob old blue one n that one you raved about from Bessemer Alabama. Love to see them cleaned up, actually all of em. I wish I knew about bottle hunting years ago. In Florida there’s not many places to find such grand stuff. Have a good time in Chattanooga . ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍
Awesome job guys👍💞👍thanks for sharing. Love how ya give a lil history with each bottle! The cobalt blue bottles are beautiful. Much love to y'all from here In michigan
I live 15 minutes from New London CT. No never heard of it but I'm just getting into bottles so you know I'll be doing a little bit of research on that bottle. I almost missed the end of this video too because I'm doing laundry. I decided to go back to watch the last couple of minutes. Great finds in this video!!
Also need to poke the dirt out the top of the bottle when you pull it out, the pressure of the air inside the bottle can also cause cracks and bruises, I usually just take a stick and get the dirt out of the neck
Wow! You guys had a great day! Happy for you all. Do you ever take a screen mesh out with you and sift for smaller items like coins and stuff? With what you were finding something like that would be kinda cool. Perhaps something to do as you refill that hole. Keep on going ...
I want to dig at the Valermosa Spring Motel in Valermosa Springs on Hwy 36 😍 I loved going there! I found the well & Spring house ruins 💖 there's many of spots around here that ya'll can find treasure at!
Brandon, I get the idea behind letting the bottles adjust slowly to a temperature change, is there a way to tell which bottles are more prone to cracking other than just bad luck and experience? I'd imagine Root glass is probably one to watch out on.... I'm asking because I might have finally found a dump here that isn't under 30 feet of slag from the steel mills. This being high desert area there's going to be a pretty good change from 10 feet to the surface when it's 90 degrees out and I'd sure hate to crack a rare local bottle by pulling it out too fast.
Our snow is just starting to melt up here in North Dakota. Cold is cols, especially if you aren't used to it. Lol Love to see what ya'll find in these videos. Thanks for sharing...
One heck of a video Brandon, Y'all dug some sweet sodas. Did you ever find out what George Washington on it? There was some unknown small that were very sweet. Take care and y'all stay safe.✌
At our late show, I flaked on buying a Hamakua mug base, the only one in Hawaii. I'm unlikely to dig one on this Island, though I dug a broken Lihue Ice in Town. I did eyeball the rare "P.S.W." stopper here in 2009, from the Big Island. It was used on unembossed bottles when the Pacific Soda Works commenced in the '90s. Controlled collapses, at the 'Ewa Plantation hospital these 2&1/2' concrete pier blocks needed to be moved . We have our brands that love to crack. Aiea and Enterprise are this clear white class with no aqua that are so fragile. I found an 'Aiea 4' deep in the West loch of Pearl Harbor. The bottles are 1901 and the company became Ewa Bottling Co.H.T., our more common Hutch. The only Southern bottle I've found here was a broken Simmons Liver Regulator from Macon Georgia. I bought a whole one through the club there. It's a sunken panel from c1880s. Congrats on the fun dig!
Oh wow now all you need is to find an aqua and a green poison and you'll have like a complete set hahah very cool to see, I don't think I've seen another RUclipsr find a clear poison yet either very awesome find
Grandma's roast beef at the dig site. I need new digging buddies. All they ever brought is stale Debbie's and crumbled up cheese crackers. That clear poison is ultra rare. In over 45 years I've only ever saw one dug. And it wasn't me it was my friend .👍👊
Hi Brandon what a great spot for finding bottles!! I was wondering would it help if the guy in the hole would fill a bucket with dirt and the guys outside pull it out with a rope Just thinking about the movie The great escape.
When I lived in Wyoming, when it is cold and snowing it’s time to come indoors and do research for the next season. Not a problem now that I live in Arizona. I remember snow. Brrrr…..
Why would a freshly dug bottle crack when exposed to air? Is that why you don't pour all the water out when finding bottles in the river? How long do they need to slow cure when found?
The glass piece with George would have been in the shape of an axe , The egg hold I think would have actually been an individual salt dish nice dig guys congrats
Thanks Joe!
I agree salt cellar or dish on the little cut glass dish
I'd also check under a black light to see if it glows. It could uranium glass.
Yes, definitely a salt dish
Yeppers lol but a cool find.
Another great day playing in the dirt! 😆😆😆 some awesome finds! Any cobalt catches my eye, but that big blue baby made me gasp a little😍😍😍😍 great looking bottle.
Thanks Debbie!
Amazing digs guys!
The little glass bowl looks like a salt cellar.✊😁
That clear poison bottle is a Diamond Antiseptic tablets from Eli lilly pharamaceutical Co out of Indianapolis Indiana. And yes the clear ones are rarer than the amber ones.I have a Eli lilly cabinet full of bottles from the company.
Brandon what a GREAT dig! the "egg cup" is actually a cut glass "salt cellar".
Finally got myself a Birmingham hutch like the one you mentioned in your dig at the end. Gives me a bit of connection with you guys when your digging now 😊
Congrats on that mug base Hutch, the George Washington piece was a glass hatchet
We’ve never found a whole hutch-loved the mug base, so cool! We’ll see you at the Chattanooga show tomorrow!

Wow what a day for you guys! Congrats to you all on your finds. See you on the next video. 😁👍
That Bessemer hutch is sweet! I’ve heard most clear poisons in any shape are rare. Maybe there’s a coke hutch there somewhere!

I have no snow up here in Canada lol 🇨🇦
So jealous of all those great finds you all have found ☺️

The tupee is impeccable
😂😂😂 All natural! Always the bald guys who think it’s a toupee 😂😂
The G washington thingy was a glass ax when it was new.
Great finds man.
The George Washington piece is a paper weight. I have a complete example of that. It is actually made in the shape of a hatchet
I wonder how old?
@@adventurearchaeology 1905 - 1910 most likely
The egg holder could also be a salt holder.
Envious but congratulatory! 😉♥
Hi Brandon what a great spot for finding bottles!! I was wondering would it help if the guy in the hole would fill a bucket with dirt and the guys outside pull it out with a rope Just thinking about the movie The great escape.
The bucket seems to slow us down quite a bit.
thanks for the vids love them. Are scratched bottles still worth money and how much do scratches deprciate the value? ?
When I lived in Wyoming, when it is cold and snowing it’s time to come indoors and do research for the next season. Not a problem now that I live in Arizona. I remember snow. Brrrr…..
Haha I bet!
Thats is a glass George Washington Axe
From 1893 worlds fair Chicago 👍
Omg I just saw you got 50k subs congratulations!
The George Washington piece was a glass hatchet/axe.
Hallo 🙋🏼♂️. Woher wisst ihr das dort flaschen(botle) liegen🍾🍾🧴🧴🧪🧪,und so tief in den Boden noch dazu?????? Bernd Frankenland 🇩🇪👍🏻
13:47 have you heard of the channel "skull bottle guy"? He has a HUGE poison bottle collection and might know about it.
That glass George Washington piece looks like it could be the handle from a fancy pitcher or a beer stein.
Everyone is saying it was a worlds fair glass ax!
That George Washington looks like an ax. Made for 1893 worlds fair at Chicago by Libby glass works in Toledo Ohio.
Let’s goooo!!!!
Brandon 👍
that's a Glass axe souvenir piece,
Awesome!
can you repair and or stabilize a cracked bottle with a thin coat of clear epoxy either on the inside or out? has anyone tried or just not worth it?
Why would a freshly dug bottle crack when exposed to air? Is that why you don't pour all the water out when finding bottles in the river? How long do they need to slow cure when found?
Another great video! Do you mind if I ask what kind of camera you use?
I have several haha! Gopro Hero 10 black, Hero 7 black, DJI Osmo Pocket 2 and I use my IPhone 12 Pro Max too……
