👋🤩 Chris!
Went to the Pinball Museum in Las Vegas. It's a nice place to escape the severe heat or cold. Cheaper than going to a casino, too.
A time capsule that I love to see.
My husband and I go to San Francisco a lot. We've been in this arcade. It's so cool and fun to see and play with. All kinds of ages are there and outside, you can walk close by to get some good fish n chips or fried shrimp. We go during off season when there's a lot less tourists and the hotel rates are down.
@@JMarieCAlove I have not been to San Francisco yet but I want to big time.
@@NostalgiaManyeah just been there it’s a fun collection
Thank you so much for this video. I am a native San Franciscan and always wondered what had happened to the Musee Mecanique antiques since the original location at Ocean Beach closed. Really happy to see the antiques restored and operating again.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Musee Mechanique changed locations when the Ocean Beach location needed to be repaired and renovated. So they temporarily moved to Fisherman's Wharf. They intended to move back when the renovation and repair work to the Ocean Beach location was complete.
But business was so good at the temporary Fisherman's Wharf location that they decided to stay and make it their permanent location. This hapoened around 10 to 15 years ago.
I brought my son to this arcade. We had such a blast! I love seeing and playing the old school video games!
I love going to SF and finally last year I visited Alcatraz. Hope you can do a video on it too! I’ve read on people who bought their tickets on a non official website
THANKS FOR THE TOUR LOOKS FUN
I've took a walk round that arcade with my sister thanks for the chance to see it again
coming to SF in a few days for a trip so excited to find this out! definitely spending a 'few' quarters here :D
Have fun!
What a great place. Thanks for sharing Chris
It really is!
This is a must visit when we go to Fisherman’s Wharf.
Great acknowledgement of this great arcade! We were on a cruise and walked past and decided to go inside. How fun! So many interesting games and things to see and explore! Thanks Chris!
Awesome Barbara!
Awesome job chris
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks
My husband and I still go to San Francisco despite what the news reports the negative things but there's so much more to all that, that is fun and we eat good food and treat ourselves to staying at a very nice hotel, shop and go sightseeing or get in our car to drive to Sausalito or other cities around San Francisco. We love this arcade, so cool and fun! 😊
Enjoy San Francisco Happy Girl!
I love seeing the Zatar machine from Big!
We stopped in there when we were in San Francisco. Love it. Played a few of the games. Could have been in there for hrs but it was a bit hot. Definitely recommend a visit.
It's a fun spot for sure!
Very cool video, brings back a lot of memories when it at the lower level of the Cliff House at Ocean Beach. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Norman!
My family and I had a great time there
Hi Chris. Thank you for sharing such an awesome arcade. There are so many machines that I have never seen before. It's a nice hidden gem. Hopefully more people will check this place. I will check it out for sure. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thanks James! Yeah. I don't think many people know about this spot
What a fantastic place! I would love to feed some quarters into those machines, especially the Bimbo monkeys machine!
This is how I imagine Chris films.
Chris: hey family I’m going to fly back to SF to do a film real quick- you guys fly out of Singapore to Japan without me. I’ll catch up with you in 6 hours. 😂
I know it’s movie magic. But it’s fun to make up stories.
Hah
You are cool 😎

Spiritual Twin of the Pinball Hall of Fame on the Las Vegas Strip…mixed with this great old museum I remember visiting a couple of decades ago in Victoria, B.C. that I’m not sure is still there (and truthfully, I don’t remember the name of…visited it on my honeymoon in 1991 and again in 2000) …they had a great selection of classic old motorized dioramas and other classic coin-op machines; a lot were circus-themed
Be sure to check out "My My". One of my favorite breakfast spots in the world.
Visited Fisherman’s Wharf Nov of last year, I didn’t know they had this. Has it always been there or did it open up recently?
I’ll surely check it out next time.
Been there for at least a few years
Since there's Neo Geo arcade machines, does one of them have Fatal Fury 2 or The King of Fighters' 98?
Back from Japan already?
Not so much.. but I still need to upload while I'm traveling. And I don't edit while traveling. So I edit a bunch and have them scheduled out for when I'm on a trip 😉
@@YellowProductions I'm the same. I'm too busy photographing while on the road, and save the edit for when I return. However, I'd love to figure a way to shoot and edit same day!
Reminds me of Wookey Hole
Mega64 made a satire out of this arcade
The magic hat is from Harry Potter!
