Meeting Hero Fiennes Tiffin on Fanmio - September 6th, 2021

Hero Fiennes Tiffin is a British actor who is best known for his role as the 11-year-old Tom Riddle in the film adaptation of Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince and Hardin Scott in the adult fiction film, After. During my session with Tiffin, he was frankly chill and friendly; a polar opposite of his sinister on-screen role. I showed off a wand I picked up from Etsy and asked him what filming the scene at Wool's Orphanage in the Half-Blood Prince was like for him. I was tired from waking up at around 5:30 in the morning, but I watched the sun rise while I waited and had a lovely time. ^_^
Coincidentally, his uncle, Ralph Fiennes, portrayed Voldemort in the later films as of the adaptation of The Goblet of Fire. The uncanny resemblance he had to him was an advantage, but it was the foreboding mood he brought out during his audition that ultimately convinced David Yates to consider him to play the part. This resemblance becomes more so in black and white modeling photographs where I get young adult Tom Riddle vibes.
Fanmio sometimes schedules virtual sessions at weird hours on weekdays. A cause I cared about since I was 18 is helping the homeless when I found out a portion of the proceeds would be donated to two UK-based charities dedicated to reducing knife crime and fighting homelessness respectively, I was sold. My usual schedule made it difficult for me to find a time that would work for me, but I was fortunate to schedule my reservation on Labor Day. It worked out for me because I was able to prepare to go to work on time right after my session concluded. :)

Awwwwww, thank you. Our conversations with him during the pandemic is a blessing. I checked out your session and I really enjoyed how you asked him about the lessons he learned about gratitude and his perception of the afterlife. They were all thought-provoking. ^_^
