    Luke: I don't believe it.
Yoda: That is why you fail.
I hold that entire scene on an almost religious pedestal. The whole training sequence at Dagobah is one of my favorite, possibly most influential, cinematic moments ever.

George Lucas studied archetypes and mythical stories. He admitted that he used Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey as basis for Star Wars and Luke's story. That's why Lucas understood so well how to make archetypal stories with strong characters, which echo over times. So YES, no wonder you used word "religious" related to this scene and Star Wars. It is strongly mythical overall.

It leads to stupidity too....like all those pretending we live in a FREE COUNTRY. THEY ARE BULLIED INTO IT AND CONTROLLED BY THE HUMAN TRAFFICKING MONETARY SYSTEM CONTROLLED BY INBRED PSYCHOPATHS DESCENDED FROM VAMPIRIZING PEDOPHILES.
I, personally, have nothing left to lose. They took it all away because I'm outing them rather than fall for propaganda and disinformation agents in RUclips comment sections.
But that's probably just my imagination too, right???

I believe that the biggest lessons are in fiction. Because you know the whole journey of the characters (which mostly ends successfully ) but in reality life you don't know how things would end. Their eventual success makes you understand that, no matter the situation you are in that particular time, if you carry on you can have a happy ending too

  • @martinkuliza
    @martinkuliza 7 лет назад +1

OK, i wouldn't be a true star wars fan if i didn't comment on this
What i've learned from this is as follows
    to become successful
    1. Never lose a planet LMFAO
Because it's fucking embarrassing , when i bring the problem to Master Yoda, After hours of trying to figure where the fuck did that planet get to.... Only to have the kindergarten kids figure the problem out in like 30 seconds and point out the obvious... LMFAO
it's like.. Oh yeah.. how could i have been so stupid to miss the fact that the file was in the recycle bin and taken off the system
i wonder if i go in the recycle bin and right click and select RESTORE LOL will the planet return... or
does the empire have a backup of the file.
ok.. so.. never lose a planet so as to not look fucking stupid.... GOT IT.. CHECK
    2. Find and Emperor and Kill him LOL
    3. Make the HARD DECISION to kill myself, thereby taking me to point 4
    4. if i'm scared to kill myself , LET GO OFF MY FEARS and just (see point 5)
    5. and then... TRY NOT... DO!
THUS bringing me to point 6..
    6. Be at Peace LOL
Now. with Yoda we could seriously pull up like a top 30 List.. EASILY
    and on a serious note
i actually grew up with Star Wars , and as a child i paid attention LITERALLY to the teachings
i picked up the following lessons from Ben Kenobi and YODA
    1. Everything is dependant upon our point own personal point of view
    2. Learn to let go of the ones that you love before they die
(and i have to say.. this lesson is a godsend, because as opposed to having someone pass away and you are hit with it in one moment.
if you come to terms with the fact say 1 year before, and you spread your grieving over 1 year
    3 things happen
    1. you grieve longer and therefore feel better and more validated when they pass
    2. you actually spend more quality time with them before they pass
    3. it doesn't hit you like a tonne of bricks when the time comes, but instead, your mind
has learned to make sense of it and copes with it much better
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS LESSON TO EVERYONE
    4. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE
Now.. as a result of this lesson in Dagobah, I LITERALLY BELIEVED at one point when i was like 8 or something or 10 that .. just like Yoda Lifted the X Wing Fighter from the swamp... LOL
no shit... i convinced myself that IF I THOUGHT IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE..... I WOULD FAIL.
so..i literally convinced myself i could move large rocks with my mind... and.... I'm talking about rocks that are 4 times the size of a bowling ball.
at school i tried to move the benches that were bolted down.. with my mind
i tried to loosen the bolts with my mind LOL
I eventually learned that lesson that
there are things that are impossible, but YOU NEED TO PROVE IMPOSSIBILITY
and i also learned that I FORGOT LESSON 1. (personal point of view) LMFAO
Lesson 4. however , led to a really fucking interesting thing.. THAT I DID PROVE
if i tied a ring onto the end of a string
and i held the other end of the string with only 2 fingers while the ring was left hanging and suspended. and i did my absolute best to not move my fingers at all
i found that if i concentrated hard enough, I COULD LITERALLY (this is not a joke) i could literally move the ring in any direction i wanted to
i then really really pushed the limits of this
i spun the ring around really fast so that it was also really high and not just making minor movements
and i challenged myself to make the ring go in the opposite direction before it slowed down
    YOU KNOW WHAT
IF YOU PRACTICE... IT IS A VERY VERY FUCKING REAL POSSIBILITY
now.. that taught me how powerful the mind is
    I THEN DID THIS
i then did the same thing, but i didn't hold the string,
i suspended it of some blu tak and just used my mind
    IT DIDN'T MOVE
THIS PROVES, even if you don't move your fingers.. NOT EVEN A BIT
your brain (if you control it) Sends micro vibrations (Frequencies) through your body down the string and it interrupts the direction of movement of the ring
    and HERE'S THE COOL PART
Even though these vibrations are small
they are still powerful enough to change the direction when the ring is moving really quickly
it's freaky shit when it happens for the first time, and i swear to god you will think that you have superpowers.. BUT.. YOU DON'T
you just gain a greater control of your mind
but this later leads to bigger things
    so.. YEAH
THIS IS WHAT I LEARNED FROM STAR WARS
    cool huh

This question is address to not only Evan and the team but also the Believe Community . I'm doing a presentation for my local Toastmasters Chapter on the topic of why you should start a business in 2016. My audience members are elderly ranging from 60 to 80 years old so I want to supply examples of individuals that started their business within the same age range. The older the better. I remember vaguely that someone started a hard liquor company in their elderly years but the name escapes me. Does anyone know who I'm referring to. I have Colonel Sanders from KFC. Any other people you can think of that started their business in their 60's 70's or 80s please let me know before Friday of this week. Thank you so much #Believe

Luke and Yoda had a great interaction in star wars.
Luke's strengths were his loyalty, aggressive use of lightsaber and love of adventure.
Unfortunately Yoda knew problems would arrive with all of these.
On the flipside without a dedicated but raw Luke to teach and pass on his knowledge Yoda
would have become irrelevant and die an unfulfiled Jedi Master.
Thanks for doing this for us X-Gens who remember Star Wars
as a spiritual and mesmerising experience rich with complexity and answers to the questions of life.

I realized what the movie was all about! The force, letting go, patience, let go of control.. ego, gratitude etc. it was right in front of my face and I never realized it.

Yoda looks similar to a demon Eliphas Levi, 33rd Degree Freemason, a famous British Occultist, conjured up. George Lucas has many occult ideas in his movies, so one wonders where he got the inspiration for Yoda.
