Suctioning is not recommended anymore as per recent studies, right?
Suctioning is recommended if there is anything occluding the airway. Usually just a downwards positioning will help all of the secretions to drain.
Just to clarify u said less flexion is Immature?
It depends which characteristic that you’re are measuring. Each evaluation is different for flexion. For the recoil, there will be less flexion in a more immature infant of the arms. In popliteal angle and heel to ear, there will be more flexion if they hip in the immature patient.
