This is an example of what happens when people don't watch the real news - they are uninformed, calling the police about a phenomenon that has been reported would happen for quite some time. That is how people are so uninformed and misinformed about politics too.
Now people can experience what it is like for those of us who suffer from TINNITUS constantly.

A big headache would also be your pet cats and dogs never having seen them before and gorging themselves on the crunchy and chewy cicadas and becoming sick. The bugs aren’t poison, but can cause the pets to throw up.
2 broods oh wow coolest thing Ive ever heard in news ever. Noisy summer bugs hatch every year people. Its quite the sound of summer down here. Not news, the 2nd brood is small enough to just be enveloped by the other larger brood of exact same bug.
They are out in New York. I was listening to them last night. I enjoy their sound. Of course our brood isn't one of the larger ones. Hoping the bull frogs join in soon. Cicadas and crickets. It's so relaxing.

So, many people complaining about the cicada's noise. Yeah, the same people calling landscapers to mow their useless, toxic herbicide ladden grass, so they can enjoy the sounds of the beautiful and soothing leaf blower/grass mower symphony sounds.
With the economy as it is, grow something you can actually eat, people! Don't be pendejo!

Two different types of broods is what makes this different. They will be popping up at the same time. While it is normal for only one brood to emerge every so and so year
