    This is super helpful, thank you for the demonstration. I just passed my Part 107 Exam (for commercial use) in the States and have this exact model. Looking forward to getting plenty of air time with this and the demo you provided has been nice. Best wishes!

    Only flown mine once (bad weather for a bit here). Very impressed so far. Have messed around with a mavic pro prior a bit - This ruko doesn't feel quite as stable on a hover, but has TONS of power for sure! Learning curve for me, but had perfect operation on all settings tried so far.
    Mine was a gift, (so price wasn't part of my consideration) - I'm very much looking forward to drier weather to really get out and fly soon 👌

    It looks like you went that whole flight with the antennae folded down? You should have gotten a much better video signal at 500M. In an open space, 1000M or more with no signal loss is a piece of cake for this drone.

      3000m with amazing fpv feed is no problem...but as you say, definitely need antennas up and pointing at drone.

    I think you had battery graph all the time not only did it show the battery level in the top right of the screen it all so has a thin ling going from right to left across the top of the camera screen if you look back in your vid it goes from green at the start when you start flying to yellow halfway through then just before your crash its right on the left had side in red mate.
    Just a thought good vid well done rob n.s.w Australia 👌👌👌

    I got one of these and really like it but how did you record that video where it shows all the heads up display stats in the vid (the one you have in the corner)? Its like you got a record of your phone video that shows the height, distance etc. Mine doesnt record any of that even on the phone-side recorded video it makes by default. Is there an option for that?

    • @andykirby

      I just recorded the screen using the built in screen record. You need a powerful phone to do it as its re-encoding the image its getting from the drone in real time 😁

    i seen why you crashed when the low battery safety came on " headless mode" had no point to return too...
    I also did a very basic mistake with mine ....was setting it up brand new ...in my kitchen ...couldnt get a good gps signal ....anyways was calibrated ..etc ... I put it in headless mode to startup the motors and I hit the auto takeoff button ................
    It flew to the ceiling ...couldnt get it back down ....almost took a chendelier off the ceiling ....2 Cats scrambling for their dear lives ....finally fell in between a shelf and cabinet ...was still going had to reach in that spot ....and hold the power button 5 seconds.
    Lesson learned ....check your settings ..my minimum return height was 3 meters ....my ceiling isnt that high ...headless in the home never ...Loll

    Hello , good drone !
    On the other Hand, the drone only works 15 to 17 minutes because of the automatic Rth (return to home) for the low battery reason.
    they announce a run of 28 minutes per battery.
    I'm halfway through.
    have you found a solution so that I can access the full capacity of the battery
    It’s normal ?

      Mine takes off like a bloody rocket - pretty sure it would lift multiple cell phones without any struggle whatsoever. (FYI, in Ukraine, they're using civilian drones just like this to drop percussion and incendiary grenades - so they will lift some weight for sure. - I may do a lift test myself 👍)

    Did you bother reading the instructions before this review? You can change it’s speed and if you just leave it do it’s thing when you get the low battery warning it will eventually return home automatically. Or, you can also press the return home button when you get the low,battery warning and it should return.

    You know what you are talking about. But you didn't try all the features. Also this Ruko is exactly the same as the SJRC F11S 4k Pro. Only re-branded and double the price.
    What I don't like about it is that you can't update home-point. And it can go into toilet bowl once in a while when using return-to-home.

    • @rustimack
      @rustimack Год назад

      They aren't actually the same drone. They share alot but the ruko uses different software and some different hardware. It's an improvement on the sjrc. The range for the price point is pretty darn good. For $350 on amazon with 2 batteries I'd buy the ruko over the sjrc all day.

    • @driewiel
      @driewiel Год назад

      @@rustimack Hell no. Same drone. Only the name Ruko on the box and app. And you pay more. OK perhaps it is easier to send it back. And you get two batteries. So I guess it's not really scam. There are other examples of way to expensive rebrands.

      Big can be good, at least if you're interested in complying with the VLOS rule. And some people don't have the luxury of living where the wind never exceeds 10mph, so heavy is good too.

      That's what I used to think. But these work differently. It's only connecting to your phones wifi from the controller. The controller receives the video. It has a good distance for its price point. It's not like the toy type drones that send video from the drone to your phone, severely limiting distance.
