  • How to install rotors and pads on 4-piston Brembo brakes! This is a surprisingly simple job that anybody with some basic tools can do.
    Make sure to buy the correct size rotors for your setup, measure your current rotors so you don't make the same mistake I did!

    I was gonna say "bro delete this it makes you look bad" but this is an important lesson.
    Basically everyone that works on cars learns the hard way about triple checking the part you're ordering.

    Where did you get the calipers from?

    Ehhhhh i was always trained (at home and at shops) if you dont have a brake decompressor or a speedy brake kit(lisle makes a good one) to always use a C-Clap and the old brake pad as a squishing mech so you dont ruin the pistons by giving un-even pressure.

    Do you need to bleed the break fluid? Bout to change mine soon

    • @garagemedia3852
      @garagemedia3852  2 года назад +1

      As long as you don't disconnect the lines, you don't need to bleed them! I would double check how much brake fluid you have in your reservoir, because when you squeeze the brakes open you are pushing fluid back into the reservoir and you don't want it to spill over. A turkey baster or something like that can help.

    • @1Bigduff
      @1Bigduff Год назад

      @@stevenstickney3498 no. no one addresses the fact that you have to drop the lower control arm to get to the lower caliper bolt. I can't find a way to do it without dropping the control arm. 20106 Hyundai Genesys 3.8 ultimate coupe with brembos on all 4 corners. dealership wants north of $1,800 to do the job parts and labor. that's criminal.
