Robert, it’s good to hear that there is no more issues with the Kubota tractor! This video was very informative sir. Take care and I’ll see you down the road…
Thanks for saving me a trip to the dealership. L3901 with 350hrs with a broken wire to the glow plug post. Realized it when turning ignition on it would blow the 50amp fuse beside the battery. Checked glow plug relay, all good and finally determining it was something at the cylinder head. Very labor intensive, but fixed broken wire, however left with the code. Roberts procedure cured the code, thanks again.
@davepowell8389 I'm glad it helped. I just realized from last yr the dealership never called me to say they would look at my tractor. I fixed it before hand, but I guess they didn't need the business anyhow.
I've been trying to figure this out for a couple of months now thank you! I shorted my battery too and had the same code. Cleared the code and no issues.
Thank you. It worked great. I got the code because I tightened the belt, and after doing that, it threw the code. Cleared it and had not come back. Very helpful.
Thanks Robert, I had a similar situation happen to me last week with the same code. I however have a battery disconnect switch on my 3901 that became loose before the code appeared. I tightened the switch back down, cranked right up and have been running like normal since with no issues. Still have the code, but I will try this remedy tomorrow. Keep up the good work.
This is why I love my 2501 HST. Love the simplicity. Just got turbo kit in to get it to 35ish HP at the PTO. Hope all is well. I'm sure this video will save people many hours of google.
My Kubota LX3310 started hard once and threw the P0089 a few months ago. Been too busy this summer and seems to run ok. Code still there, maybe this fall I will get it into the dealership. I will search for a way to clear the code myself and see if it goes away or comes back. Thanks for the idea!
