Candice King CONFIRMS Klaus & Caroline Reunion On The Originals?

The Originals is sadly coming to an end, but before it goes completely off the air, there’s just one BIG question on every Klaroline shipper’s mind.
Will we FINALLY get to see Caroline and Klaus be together?!
According to Candice King, anything can happen. Especially now that she’s going to appear in a total of FIVE episodes instead of the originally planned one. While everyone closely involved with The Originals has been VERY tight lipped about anything that has to do with Caroline and Klaus’ plotline, Candice actually shed a tiny bit of light on it in her interview with NKD magazine.
Candice started off by talking about why Caroline and Klaus didn’t end up together on The Vampire Diaries. She said QUOTE, “Julie Plec always had a very clear idea of what she wanted for Caroline and Klaus together. It wasn’t exactly always in line with what the fans wanted for those characters…she wrote very important moments that she wanted for those characters, but I think she also gave a lot to the fans and what they wanted to see.”
And then, it was what she said afterwards that reignited hope in all Klaroline fans. Candice said that in the final season of the Originals, fans gave life to a relationship that they’ve QUOTE “wanted for so long.”
Could it be that we finally get to see a happily ever after for one of the biggest ships of the vampy series?! Well, time will only tell.
Aside from touching on the Klaroline ship, Candice also went on to reveal that the five episodes she’ll be in was totally unplanned. She said QUOTE, “When Vampire ended, it was just supposed to be a quick little pop-in to say goodbye to the Caroline and Klaus storyline for the fans. We all felt that it would be really significant and important for anyone who supported - or ‘shipped’ as the kids say - those two together.”
However Julie and Candice realized that Klaroline needed more than an episode to hash things out, so here we are.

Klaus promised Caroline to wait for her however long It takes and he told her that perhaps in a year or even in a century she’ll turn up at his door and let him show her what the world has to offer... Can’t believe we actually get to see that happen, It’s been so long

Also I guess Hope and the twins will stay at the boarding school with Alaric because Julie is planning a spinoff based on the school and Joseph & Candice already said this is the last from them and their characters

Its been so long I've literally waited since he left the show and I always told myself I hoped when tvd finished they would somehow make her go to the originals now it's happening klaroline is my favorite ship of all time
This is literally the definition of an OTP. I mean their 'ship' storyline suits their tvd/to story. I mean, he literally told her I will wait, *however long it takes*. And it happens after 4 years of nothing! Come on! This is unnreal.

Caroline and Klaus are meant to be together. Before"The Originals" I remember a Daniel Gilles comment that as soon as fans saw Cami that the chemistry between her and Klaus would make us all forget the electric chemistry that was between Caroline and Klaus. IMO, anybody that claimed to be a Klaroline fan that also like Klaus and Cami together were never true Klaroline fans because Cami was a cheap rip off of Caroline who was the first to bring out the softer, vulnerable, funny, considerate, loyal, protective, loving, family oriented guy that Klaus kept hidden from most people so that he doesn't tarnish his reputation as the merciless, heartless hybrid whose mere name strikes fear in others. Caroline also understands Klaus in ways that no one else can, not to mention Cami was blonde and Klaus called her "love" which was Plec and the writer's way of trying to force us to like Cami. Not surprisingly it failed to make us forget about Klaroline. If the show wants to end on a high note then the best way to achieve a satisfying series finale is to make Klaus and Caroline endgame.

My hopes arent up Julie Peck doesn't exactly care all that much what the fans want. Just look at TVD ending. I don't personally know anyone who wanted it to end the way it did, or wanted the show to go in the direction that it did. 5 episodes are nothing. Characters come in for 5 shows give or take all the time. Its posible if its the last 5 episodes but if it doesnt show that shes in the last episode thats a 99% garentee they wont end up together.

I find it funny that Julie always says she never meant for them to really be a thing yet the writers literally made Klaus tell her that he would be her last love 🙄 like they have no choice but to put them together now. It wouldn't make sense otherwise
