I just recently purchased one of these myself from Walmart they had two left and I was actually in Walmart to get something completely different but I couldn't pass it up I've been wanting one of these for my fifth wheel RV for the longest time I just now decided to get one I just put everything together and connected everything and tested it out it really works well I really love it and it actually does blow out a lot warmer air than my basic space heater that I used to have which is interesting to me I just want that little piece of home feeling with a fireplace for the upcoming holidays I was a little afraid of putting it on the floor of course because there is carpet in the RV but it stands up so high that I don't think it bothers it any👍👍
I love mine! Have it on now in my motorhome and I agree it gives a cozy home feel. It heats the floor well which can get realky cold with the cold air blowing under the rig and it helps my water lines not to freeze which are in the floor. I just wish it had a safety shut off tip feature! I just don't leave it on if I am not there bc I have a cat and dog and don't want to chance it might get nocked over and then I use my other heater that does have the safety tip feature.
@@survivingthriving3131 yes I agree with you a hundred percent I also have two dogs myself but they're pretty well trained not to mess with anything but you are right on the automatic cutoff switch it does say something about it has a feature about an overheating deal on it but I'm not sure what that's all about but anyways I'm going to enjoy this thing to the fullest thank you again for your review it really helped me out to choose one of these nice fireplaces
Going to try to figure out the setting where it turns on and off at a specific temperature, have not been able to.... if i can figure it out during this couple of days then i am keeping it.. helps to know it is possible
It doesn't go by the temperature in the room (it doesn't have an an actial thermostat). It works like a timer. Changing the dial changes how long the heater cycles on stays on for. Like if I put it on a lower setting, it might come on every 15 min for 5 min and if I turn it up, it comes on more frequently and stays on longer ea h time). If you set the dial to full blast, it stays on all the time. It took me a bit to use it to see where to place the dial to keep the area warm.
Love/Hate this heater. Looks great and worked like a charm at first. Now, it run for about 2 hours then the heating rods and fan will quit and it's done. The light flames will continue to work. Once it's unplugged for an hour or so, it will turn back on and run for a couple more hours. Don't have a clue why. I'm sure a heater/fan replacement would cost as much as a new one.
We just got this from Walmart today and we've just put it together and we love it. Was 92.00 with the tax. My only question is what kind of bulbs are used for the light? I had a metal electric fireplace awile back and it used the same kind as regular bulbs that look like teardrops. Regardless.... We are loving this one ❤️💯🔥🔥❤️💯
As I need a heater at times I definitely like the look of a fireplace. $78 is a great price but at my Walmart here in Pennsylvania it is at a $96.87 At that price I am looking at other options. Thank you for your video.
My price must have been a promotion. It is quite a lot to spend for just a heap source when you can do it so much cheaper with other options but if you want the esthetics of a fireplace this really does make you feel that it is a real fireplace.
Ive had mine for about 3 or 4 years now my flames are not as good as yours but niw it only runs fir about 3 min and turns off im trying to fix it with no luck
Do you know what type of light is used for the logs/flame???? I've been looking at this stove at my local Wallyworld, they are charging $89 for it but no where on the box does is say if that's LED lighting for the log area or what it is? Help!!! LOL
@@survivingthriving3131 I went ahead and bought it yesterday $96! ha, well guess they didn't mark the price sticker correctly, cause on the website it is $96 as well. Btw, i don't need the heating unit at all! @@aaronkeil4412I didn't take it apart, so I can't tell what kind of light is in the logs but there is a wheel in it that projects out the flames. I did see the same unit st another Ealmart for $98 so I guess I got lucky with the pro e I got mine at!
Excellent Review. I'm currently in a rental with no fireplace. I can't decorate for Christmas without a fireplace. I will put my manger on top.
It does help get the holiday vibe!
Awesome! Love that it is functional and super cute for your small space
Love it!
@@daemonicstar mine still works great after 3 years!

Without taking it apart. I am not sure the type of bulb but I agree it is most likely a reg bulb.
Not sure, but probably a regular bulb

Doesn't work great in my shed, that might just be because I need to insulate more though.
Probably!
So it is energy efficient
I think so

I did not see that on the Box either I am not sure but maybe I can peek inside and take a look and find out and get back to you.

Hi is the heating element hot to the touch? Could it be on low carpet?
Yes it is hot to the touch. I have mine on low carpet, just make sure it doesn't tip over as it can start a fire.
Does it get really 🔥 hot?
Yes it does.
If it's on hi it makes a 20 by 20 room way too hot. I only set mine on a 1/4 to 1/2 strength. It actually heats up my whole 800ft apartment.
