    Thank you for this presentation, I was trying our unit out for the 1st time with the remote and wondering why I couldn't adjust the temperature?, at 1st I thought it was a faulty unit, but after watching your presentation, it confirmed to me that the unit is designed this way. Very helpful, thank you so much.

    I have this fireplace 4? Years now, and we all love it! I didn’t have to assemble it, it came ready to go right out of the box. It’s a godsend on the front porch which is in the north of the house, always cold. I know it’s not a real fireplace, but I have to say Duraflame hit it out of the park with the light effects from this model, and believe me, I went to see many fireplaces. This model makes me feel like I have a real fireplace! Everyone will love it!

    pretty good presentation, I respect that you did the pros and cons in your view, not just a commercial for Dura Flame..I will recommend this to a friend who had concerns about infrared use. I also liked that you include the electrical useage...again I say, Thank you !

    Great review, I actually like you can’t see the display. The cost to run is not terrible considering it’s a decent size room which sounds like it’s not insulated? Thanks for the full perspective, I want to use these in Glamping tents, much smaller space but very little insulation

    Can you answer a question for me I know there’s a timer on this stove but is there a way to run the stove continuously and not use the timer ? Your follower Bruce.

    • @AlToneHPR
      @AlToneHPR  Год назад

      You should be able to just turn it on and set your temp to a high enough setting it will continue to run. Until the area you have it gets up to the desired temp. I never use the timer function. It runs all day turning on and off as needed for my set temp until I turn it off at night. Hope this helps.

      It’s not very loud I have been on meeting calls and recording videos with it running in the background. Not very noticeable. You can hear it is pretty quiet. Any other sounds like music or TV will drown out the sound easily. Thanks for watching.

    Thanks for the detailed review. It was very informative. I do have a couple points of clarification though.
    First, you mentioned that it heats up a room about 700 square feet in size, does it do that by itslef or do you use it as a supplemental heater to augment say, ducted heating?
    Second, you mentioned that you set the temperature to about 78 dgrees on the heater, do you recall what the external temperature was or what the baseline temperature in your basement was prior to switching it on?
    Thanks heaps!

    • @AlToneHPR
      @AlToneHPR  2 года назад

      It is a supplement to my home heating however my basement stays rather cold and it does not heat my office space well which is the reason I need the heater. It can be as cold as in the 50s over night if I do not regularly warm up my office. The windows a need to be replaced and there are 4. So I have blackened out the windows and placed insulation in them to help keep in warmth. I’m sure once we are able to replace windows we may not need to use the heater so much. This is why I know how well this heater works. Thanks for watching!

    I’ve had my heater for a couple of years. I have it in my bedroom and would run it constantly but after a while it started shutting off fir a while then comes back on. Did I hit something to cause this or it does this automatically?

    • @AlToneHPR
      @AlToneHPR  2 года назад +1

      It’s most likely the thermostat causing it to go off. Mine goes off as well once it reaches a good temperature in my office and turns back on as needed.

      Hello Betty, I apologize for taking so long to respond. It was taking some time to get check the heater where we have it placed to see if there was any type of access panel. I do not see one. It looks to me that you would have to remove the entire back of the unit. With it being a pretty new heater I did not feel comfortable doing so. I was truly hoping someone else with a the same heater would respond as well.
      Thank you so much for watching and I do apologize I was not of much help.

    What a dumb video it hardly shows the flames at all especially up close so a person can really get an idea of the 3d effect because I can tell you there are so many sellers out there selling electric fireplaces that claim to have 3D flame and they don't, some of these sellers are stating 3D just because the brightness can be changed but that's not what makes the flame effect 3D. A 3D flame effect is when the flames are in front of the logs, on top of the logs, and behind the logs so I just want to let people know that there are a lot of sellers out there who are doing false advertising.
