Thank you! Seriously sometimes its hard too find an actual human in these videos, showing off what it can do and what kind of room your working without sounding like an amazon ad! Again thank you!
Thank you for this presentation, I was trying our unit out for the 1st time with the remote and wondering why I couldn't adjust the temperature?, at 1st I thought it was a faulty unit, but after watching your presentation, it confirmed to me that the unit is designed this way. Very helpful, thank you so much.
I have this fireplace 4? Years now, and we all love it! I didn’t have to assemble it, it came ready to go right out of the box. It’s a godsend on the front porch which is in the north of the house, always cold. I know it’s not a real fireplace, but I have to say Duraflame hit it out of the park with the light effects from this model, and believe me, I went to see many fireplaces. This model makes me feel like I have a real fireplace! Everyone will love it!
pretty good presentation, I respect that you did the pros and cons in your view, not just a commercial for Dura Flame..I will recommend this to a friend who had concerns about infrared use. I also liked that you include the electrical useage...again I say, Thank you !
I’m here because I have the same one I misplaced the instructions so I never got a chance to learn about it’s other features i just took it out the box popped batteries in the remote and turned it on I’ve had 5 years
Great review, I actually like you can’t see the display. The cost to run is not terrible considering it’s a decent size room which sounds like it’s not insulated? Thanks for the full perspective, I want to use these in Glamping tents, much smaller space but very little insulation
Just received my Duraflame 3D heater. Put the legs on and it was set to go. Loved your presentation and found it helpful about the cost monthly to run. Thank you
Can you answer a question for me I know there’s a timer on this stove but is there a way to run the stove continuously and not use the timer ? Your follower Bruce.
You should be able to just turn it on and set your temp to a high enough setting it will continue to run. Until the area you have it gets up to the desired temp. I never use the timer function. It runs all day turning on and off as needed for my set temp until I turn it off at night. Hope this helps.
Thank you. The information was helpful. I especially like how you went into the electricity usage and cost for using the heater over a one mo th period. I have been curious about electricity useage/consumption.
I have mine 5 going on 6 years I have a master bedroom it heats so well I don’t even use the radiator in my room I turned off the radiator I only use the thermostat for the rest of the house
It’s not very loud I have been on meeting calls and recording videos with it running in the background. Not very noticeable. You can hear it is pretty quiet. Any other sounds like music or TV will drown out the sound easily. Thanks for watching.
I’m going into another winter with it and loving it. I have not tried many others so currently I do not have other recommendations. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the detailed review. It was very informative. I do have a couple points of clarification though. First, you mentioned that it heats up a room about 700 square feet in size, does it do that by itslef or do you use it as a supplemental heater to augment say, ducted heating? Second, you mentioned that you set the temperature to about 78 dgrees on the heater, do you recall what the external temperature was or what the baseline temperature in your basement was prior to switching it on? Thanks heaps!
It is a supplement to my home heating however my basement stays rather cold and it does not heat my office space well which is the reason I need the heater. It can be as cold as in the 50s over night if I do not regularly warm up my office. The windows a need to be replaced and there are 4. So I have blackened out the windows and placed insulation in them to help keep in warmth. I’m sure once we are able to replace windows we may not need to use the heater so much. This is why I know how well this heater works. Thanks for watching!
I’ve had my heater for a couple of years. I have it in my bedroom and would run it constantly but after a while it started shutting off fir a while then comes back on. Did I hit something to cause this or it does this automatically?
It’s most likely the thermostat causing it to go off. Mine goes off as well once it reaches a good temperature in my office and turns back on as needed.
I have not needed too so I'm not sure. I've been looking for answers to this question because I use my heater regularly so I will not take it apart until I have to. Do not want to break and have to replace it. Thanks
Hello Betty, I apologize for taking so long to respond. It was taking some time to get check the heater where we have it placed to see if there was any type of access panel. I do not see one. It looks to me that you would have to remove the entire back of the unit. With it being a pretty new heater I did not feel comfortable doing so. I was truly hoping someone else with a the same heater would respond as well. Thank you so much for watching and I do apologize I was not of much help.
Everyone be careful.. my brother had one and it was shut off when he was not home but plugged into the wall. He has cameras in his house and it caught on fire and burnt the living room up.
What a dumb video it hardly shows the flames at all especially up close so a person can really get an idea of the 3d effect because I can tell you there are so many sellers out there selling electric fireplaces that claim to have 3D flame and they don't, some of these sellers are stating 3D just because the brightness can be changed but that's not what makes the flame effect 3D. A 3D flame effect is when the flames are in front of the logs, on top of the logs, and behind the logs so I just want to let people know that there are a lot of sellers out there who are doing false advertising.
I purchased it to heat my space. And it works and looks great while doing so. Sorry you didn't get what you wanted from the info provided. Thanks for watching.

EXCELLANT review, cost to operate is what I loved the most, Thanks!

Thank you very much! A fantastic review with data analytics!! Well done

Is there an option for the flames to turn on with no heat for decorative effect in summer?
You can adjust the temperature so that it will not come on but it doesn’t actually turn off at least not my version.
Very informative, professional 👏 really enjoyed watching the whole video!!
Thanks for this review I was thinking on buying it
Thank you so much!
Great review, I going to buy one. Thanks
Thank you so much, Thanks for watching!
We love our Unit….
Really appreciate your review. Well done and you explained all the features perfectly!!
Thank you so much!

Great video. Very informative. Thank you
Thank you so much.
Great video; how about the sound level of the unit? Loud, or no?
Not loud at all. I have done live streams with it running right next to me.
Thanks for taking the effort to do the maximum running cost calculation!
You are welcome. Thank you

i saw some amazon reviews saying it has a 2 prong, ungrounded cable. is that true?
Excellent review.
Thank you

Awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience!
How loud is the fan when it’s running or is it annoying orange can you barely hear it
It’s not very loud I have been on meeting calls and recording videos with it running in the background. Not very noticeable. You can hear it is pretty quiet. Any other sounds like music or TV will drown out the sound easily. Thanks for watching.
does it have a fan
Yes there is a fan.
Is there one you would recommend other than this unit or is this the best?
I’m going into another winter with it and loving it. I have not tried many others so currently I do not have other recommendations. Thanks for watching!

How can you replace the quartz infrared bulb?
I have not needed too so I'm not sure. I've been looking for answers to this question because I use my heater regularly so I will not take it apart until I have to. Do not want to break and have to replace it. Thanks
Would have liked for you to show How to put the legs on! When you mentioned tools ⚒️ what tools are needed to put the legs on?
Just a Phillips screwdriver #2
Very simple. I start with a Phillips screwdriver, then complete the job with a drill.
Where did you get that marigold
❓
How do I replace my Bulb 💡

Everyone be careful.. my brother had one and it was shut off when he was not home but plugged into the wall. He has cameras in his house and it caught on fire and burnt the living room up.
I am truly sorry to hear that. I hope he has been able to recover well from the situation.
It just happened this morning.. luckily nobody was hurt and he's talking with the insurance company. Thank you though!
And the insurance adjuster said he seen so many of these happened that he unplugs his from the wall when he's not using it
@@jw1056 Yes that is a great suggestion. Thanks!
Thermostat are not very accurate on these and can get up to 80 at times even if set on 66-68.
If you don't run the fake flame, I suppose you would save money.
Possibly but the heating element and the fan is what uses the most energy. The light uses very little.
Still cheaper than oil !!!!
I never have used oil. That’s good to know
