My experience of this video, as well as my experience of attending a few Fugazi concerts in Canada, is that Ian gets angry, as he does in this video, with audience members who have attended the concert to be violent for no reason at all... I think that the music Fugazi creates is intended to energize the audience to address the harms of industries, politicians, and other powerful entities in western societies that exploit people for profit. When this energy becomes misdirected toward other people attending the concert, it tells me that the audience needs to listen more carefully to Fugazi's music. This is my perspective, for what it's worth.
Wow. I was there as a 17 year old in the process of having my mind blown. First time in Newtown and I had just heard Fugazi. Bit of a life changing event for me. Joe Lally became one of my main influences on bass
Such an important song, and performed in a place that really needed to hear it.
