    They sound like a higher pitched St Mary Redcliffe bells

    all bells are cast by pack and chapman except the tenor 37-3-15cwts which is thomas II mears there is also a extra flat bell cast by whitechapel and a flat 6th cast by mears and stainbank

    Oh boootiful as we say in Norfolk! Sir John Betjeman (who was the poet laureate from 1972 until his death in 1984) said that St Peter Mancroft was sometimes mistaken by visitors for the cathedral.
