- Devon Call-Change Bellringers On Tour: Norwich, S Peter Mancroft, Norfolk. December 2012. Footage shows (attempting!) to rise the back 8-bells in peal, call-changes on the back 8-bells and concludes with lowering the back 8-bells in peal. As an old South Devon ringer once said... "They take some getting off the ground without any stones!" Which translated means... "They take some raising without giving away any faults!"

Thank you for your kind comments. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Lake District and especially enjoyed ringing the lovely bells of Cleator Moor. The warm welcome you provided was much appreciated! It is a great pity that Cleator Moor is not closer to Devon....
These are an enormously challenging ring for any band. You rang them very well indeed, well done!
well done andy on the 3rd, from Rob, East Crompton
Big tenor boom at 0:56
I recognise a lot of you from you visit to Cleator Moor this week (April 2013). Your ringing was seriously impressive - magical! I was spellbound. I had recorded some and it is now on our tower website!! Looking forward to your videos on youtube!
Wow!
I am an American musician, I'm trying to understand change ringing.. it's so foreign to me!! I wish I could see it done to understand it better.
These are the bells who was the tower captain who let you in I know Richard Turk
