  • Tired of wasting money on bath poufs, want one that's environmentally friendly? Learn to crochet a simple bath pouf that is machine washable! Make one to match your bathroom decor, give them as gifts, donations, etc.
    Made with 100% cotton yarn and tulle. The tulle provides a bit of exfoliation and allows the soap/body wash to later. Simply allow to air dry and wash weekly along with your towels.
    These poufs can be made larger or smaller by working more or fewer rows.

    I really love these - they are so pretty and great for the environment too! I haven't crocheted in years but I'd love to buy one if they were for sale somewhere. I love your idea of makign them as party favors!

    I keep the tulle about 1.5 inches to 3 inches wide. Depends on how thick you prefer it to be.

    Is it possible to make a pouf like this out of only tulle?? Would I just follow the same steps but with just tulle and crochet with it? I’ve made dish scrubbies by crocheting them with tulle.

    How can this be environmentally friendly when the tulle being used polyester which is melted spun plastic? Plastic is not environmentally friendly. If a natural or cotton alternative netting is used, then it would be environmentally friendly.
