Defenses are going to defend the deep ball again. This means a MONSTER year for Rice and a good if not great year for Kelce.

Hollywood, Worthy, Rice (when he comes back from probable suspension), Kelce... its gonna be fun to watch. I think I'm most excited about Hollywood though for real, I've always wondered what he would look like with a QB like Pat.

Add in Wiley and Pacheco. This offense is gonna be rolling.
I’m not convinced that he will be suspended this year. He could but they might wait till next year when the legal implications start.

Back in 2018 when Mahomes won MVP and was airing it out 5.5 times a game, he was sacked the 10th least in the NFL out of QBs with over 12 games played. In 2019, when he threw for almost 5000 yards and was still airing it out 4.7 times a game, he was the least sacked QB in the NFL. I think he'll be fine, especially with Creed, Thuney, and Smith on the interior and his ability to scramble when the play breaks down.

@@thatstheway2429 you might want to check PMs numbers last year. They weren't good. And, yeah, some of that has to do with losing TH. You seem to be saying that age doesn't matter for Kelce, and/or that Kelce doesn't matter to Mahomes. Both are absurd.

    • @thatstheway2429

@@crystalballers no that’s not what I’m saying at all.
Mahomes had the worst WR group in all of football last year, and the highest drop rate in the past 3 years.
Yes, if his weapons are atrocious and literally dropping balls that turn into pick 6’s, his numbers will be down.
But if he has semi-competent play, and at least one dangerous weapon, he will be MVP caliber.
Kelce can take a hit, but Hollywood is going to have a monster year. Mahomes will win MVP this year.
