isn't laveen considered a high crime area?...I am considering moving there from VA...however someone fill me in I notice that those huge homes are relatively cheap..? Is it because of thefts etc..? Its difficult to tell because I know a lot can be by the perception of the person..Some people hate Va and I feel its an incredible place to live..I visited a few years ago to check it out and will come by again in march or April
river phoenix , there is some crime, much like other areas of the city. It is and has been an up and coming area, mostly rural, and as such values had always lagged. Laveen offers great values, but it is not the cheapest area either.
thanks for the reply.. I do like Lavern however it was hard to get a feel when I came out a few years ago. I will look you up when I come out with family for them to check things out.. I like the rural feel, I would like to explore some more areas also. I would like to be 20-30 min from Phoenix if we make the decision.What are some other areas that offer that rural feel but yet close to things such as shopping, movies, entertainment..?
Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) could help out Laveen. Guess we'll find out in late 2019 or early 2020.

Planning on moving there soon because my mom can’t get a single Job in Las Vegas Nevada the Job she is working at is too hectic for her
I used to live in Laveen, beautiful homes and area. lately it was full of drug addicts and high crime. So sad we had to sell our home and move.
