My man played A minor like he knew sumn
Suspended chords = Chord hack magic trick
I don't think I've ever seen a minor chord called a 1-4-8😂 Measure the notes on the scale not the notes on the keyboard, you'll save yourself a lot of hassle just by knowing chords/scales.
the "8" tho
its a commonly used term, like the 1 4 6 progression
@@Rikkodiene I get that but a progression measure notes on scale. A 1 4 6 would be the 1st, 4th, then 6th note of the scale and you'd build your chord progression on that. A minor chord is literally a 1-3-5. I understand but he's counting total keys not the scale. There is no 8th note in a minor scale lol.
the person who made this video didn’t learn right. for one, its not a 1-4-8 minor chord code, its a 0-3-7 minor chord code. you don’t count the root note because its zero notes away from itself (unison). also chord codes relate to chord progressions but he wasn’t referring to a minor chord progression at all. he was simply stating how to build the minor chord in a DAW.
@@smxkingalonebeats2895 also, your meaning of 1-3-5 is representing the scale degrees within the scale, which is right. but 0-3-7 is right because it uses the root note or unison which is ZERO notes away from the root note, the major 3rd is THREE notes away from the root note, and the perfect fifth is SEVEN notes away from the root note.
This is nice. Thank you
A 1, sus2, sus4, 5 inversion
So a 1 - 3 - 5?
Yes. Then a suspended 2nd chord
No need to count chromatically if is in natural A minor since no accidentals are in the scale just count the notes that’s in the scale like 1 - 3 - 5
Hey can you do a full video on soothe2?
Bruh is this an AI voiceover?
yuh i j realized it is cause theres too much energy each sentence if not thats crazy tho
It is 😂
Yea
Click bait that's not a chord progression you're just counting from the root and saying that it is because the notes of the chord land there and that's just cause of how you counted you actually just showed us one chord the real chord progression is minor 1 - minor 1, 3rd suspended down
Hundreds and thousands of dollars?
Ppl have tried paying me 10 dollars for beats lol
Same, because we aint famous like metro.
😂 😂 Do y’all honestly believe Metro thinks about any of this when he’s producing beats?
Exactly 😂😂😂😂
No but it comes to play in the back of his mind certainly
isnt chord progressions for the bright notes? im confused, this is different than the normal chord progressions i know
Bright notes? What are you talking about. There’s a chord progression for every scale. Melodic Minor, Major, Harmonic Minor, Double Harmonic,Mixolydian , Lydian, all the scales.
@@GamerGamer-ok6wu im aware but hes in a minor natural scale and he just did a 1 3 5, not an 1 4 8. and by bright I had meant highlighted notes
@@URSO. Yes he did, I was confused on your terminology. He did a 1,4,8 in chromatic scale, which was very odd indeed. He was counting the semitones instead of the scale keys. But, you can have chords that are into in a scale in a chord progression, especially when it comes to extentions, where it doesn't really affect the tone of the chord.
Anyone know why when I have 2 notes with only one semitone between them playing together it sounds off asl,
Because it doesn’t have context
Looking for comment verification association to verify it...if its legit
lmfao... god this is embarassing
