Fun fact, Jas and I met in real life in 2018 and shot a travel video together in LA. This was the first time we got to reconnect and shoot something new, but after this virtual experience we really enjoyed it and will be back again with more videos in the future.
these meals and desserts looked incredible, will definitely try these out. I enjoyed watching yall make it, advertise local restaurants, taste testing, and showing us the recipes. very very underrated video!
That's because that's really what America is. It's just made up of all kinds of different people from all over the world. So American Culture is more so a mix of cultures.
Love Ryan reviewing the Cheese Rolls with telltale crumbs (from 5!) on his lips Also, I say Everyone is a winner when Good Food, Fun & BFOz are involved
love the video but I wish Porto's had been denoted as a Cuban bakery. It's a staple in our cuisine and everyone gave nods to Italy, Korea, etc, and Cuban heritage needs all the nods it can get right now.
I actually really loved seeing examples from different restaurants and the compliments made about the dishes! I had no idea yellow watermelons existed. I may have to give them a try (I actually hate watermelons, the pink ones. Too watery for me.)
Ahhh amazing, thank you. We will totally do something like this again. We haven't written the recipes, so we can't supply, but maybe for next time we can try.
Having lived in Australia for 20 years and now living in los Angeles California. All I can say yes Australia has DELICIOUS food . But i gotta give this win to the US . They have delicious food also but they have the advantage of having good Mexican and other Hispanic foods . Australia doesn't offer that . And once i tried real authentic Mexican, Peruvian , cuban , Puerto Rican, Salvadorian etc .... food which is available here in LA i was like wow can't believe i missed out on these type of foods in Australia.
While I agree, the food Ryan picked was better, none of those foods were Australian either. Like Australia invented ricotta pancakes, shakshuka and sushi 😂🤣
@@tinatee6334 We really wanted to highlight popular foods and showcase different cultures and local businesses. Australia doesn't really have a scene of "Australian food" we are heavily influenced by the rest of the world. Hope you enjoyed the video :)
@@ryanpaturzo947 yes, I agree. However senggao up there seems to think the US has no food culture and The Australian items were Australian. I was pointing out both cultures have adopted other countries foods, not just the US. Hope you enjoyed making it and eating it!
Australian vs. California isn't really a versus video given Australian is so similar to California!!! Australia is literally California in Continent form 😋 and as a Native Californian I approve this video ❤️❤️❤️❤️

please have the team try indian snacks/ food and golgappa. You can team up with BuzzFeed India when doing so. Golgappa is one of my favorite Indian street foods.
@@ryanpaturzo947 last time buzzfeed had people try golgappa they messed it up you only need the puri( shell ) the Pani ( flavored water ) tamarind sauce and the potato chickpea filling add all 3 inside the puri then eat
The amount of food they eat in 24h. Me eating 1 egg in 24h... No I'm not diagnosed with anorexia. Just listen to my body and eat when I'm hungry. Which is not often sometimes. Othertimes I eat a lot.
I am puzzled with Jasmine statement of Jon and Vinny's, research may be something you want to check. It was barely opened when COVID hit. I have lived in Brentwood all my 50 years of life (3 blocks away) and sorry girl prior it was a diner that was only open during the morning and afternoon. Known restaurants within a few block radius would be Katsuya or Baltaire.
That could be an interesting take. Although Australia doesn't really have a "traditional" cuisine as such, as we are so heavily influenced by the rest of the world.

I just realised that American food is food from different cultures.
Similarly, food in Australia has been heavily influenced from all over the world.
it was same for Australia too
Yea some but we also have a lot of original dishes!

Why is the watermelon yellow in the uk they are red 🤔
