I remember at the beginning of the year you were very concerned about the cost of fertiliser, and the impact to the grass yield. By evidence you have managed the grass exceptionally well, even with the dry summer. Credit to you.
One of my all time fav things to watch is silage harvesting, iv'e lived around farming almost all my life and absolute love it silage muck spreading and slurry tanking are by far my fav things to watch, keep the awesome work up tom!!!
ah Tom you are always busy...the Ginger reminds me of my grandfather...a farmer never stops working & thinking ...working & thinking...great videos..Love the Cows..Love the Farm Life 😀
My favorite farmers in the world of RUclips!!!! And I just love your wife, Tom. She is so lovely but doesn't mind getting on the farm and working. What a wonderful family!!!
The chopper trying to get through that gate is a perfect example of bigger isn’t always better. Those choppers are awesome machines. They chop haylage and other silages much faster than what I used in the 70s. Farm equipment has advanced so much since back then.
You can use the tyres in road construction. Lay them flat and fill them with hard core, helps to stabilise the ground before top layer. There are RUclips videos showing how.
Hi Tom, I found your RUclips channel via the Hoof GP who recommended to his followers that we take a peek. I am so glad I did as I’m really enjoying watching you & your team. Farm Life is obviously hard work however you highlight the funny things that happen creating a very good balance. Cows 🐄 really do have a sense of humour, I swear some of them deliberately wind you up. I wish you, your family and Team, Joy. Jann, 🥰🇦🇺
Funny! You call it Roly-poly. We call it summersault. I love it when I come across the different ways Scottish and English people describe things compared to how it’s said in US.
Tom my husband and I love following your videos. But we are Canadian,we can’t always understand everything you say, I thought I talked fast. Keep doing what you are doing! You should be very proud!
Tedding and raking up are my favs to watch, although I'll watch any machines at work. The first time I ever saw asphalt being heated before being topped it was on my very own street. A truck with giant propane tanks and huge burners threw flames onto the road bed and it was followed by asphalt and a giant roller. All housework immediately stopped and I went outside to watch. Just like this morning, all housework has stopped, so I could watch this video of farm equipment at work.
Recommend by hoof gp. I’m a hard time with your accent ( when you speak fast)but never the less i am enjoying your content. Very interesting and great team work.
I never thought that I would think a tractor is sexy, but I do. Perhaps it’s time to go to the ag expo this year, it’s been over 40 years since I’ve been.
Fuck that pto in the scrap pile and put a good wide angle shaft on instead, all feeders should come standard with them. It's desperate hard on tractors starting and stopping them when they are loaded
Hi Tom, just been watching a video on RUclips of cutting corn(maize) for silage in USA on Engelscoachshop, usually he makes or restores old wooden wagons but this time he was helping truck to the clamp.
Love the drone footage and how you pick the music out that is awesome it goes good with the footages . Tom you thinking about widening the gate so the chopper can get through the gate? That chopper is a good fast machine don’t take long to load and start on next field. It’s awesome seeing grass grow back up in the fields . Keep up the good work stay safe .
Anther amazing video Tom you will be glad to get your 3 cut in for this year Tom buddy just keep up the great work on the farm and video thanks from bryon
Paddy, did you say that you had a wet day in Ireland? My paddocks were covered so I couldn't see the grass. Things are draining today. There are islands of grass in the stream now. Georgia in Central Florida. Tom, so great to see you. Always enjoy your productions. I am learning so much about growing grass and properlyusing fertilizer(chemical and other). Please keep up the great videos.
Puddles, ponds and pools of rain water are draining off. We have another month of possible tropical storms before we start our dry season then we get rain when frontal systems go through.
Feed looks great, loved the team work shame about the golf course, off to plan B Show more drone shots please they show how good the farm is looking.👍👍😁👏❤️
being a townie, I thought you just put the cows out to graze and bring them just to milk them, then send them out again. Until I found your video's I didn't have a clue about anything else.!!!!! thank you Tom and the team.
Hey Tom. Love the chopping videos always. Especially with the new Hiirliman. If you’d have checked with me first, I’d have reminded you about the gravel bags. 😎
A certain Mr Cornock would give his right arm for your 3rd cut right now. Don't suppose leaving it a bit long will do any harm in protecting it to get going again in the few decent days that will be left this year to grow a bit.
One local farm who grows produce, brings in Skip Jack Tuna to make tuna fish salad. they sell beef from nearby farms, milk and a bunch of ther things including pies.
Tom, you mentioned the hurliman was a bit thirsty, after using it for another cut, how is it for economy? How's the small Adblue tank doing, are you topping it up all the time?
I swear every time you show new clips of HomeFarm I have another shed to build 😂😂, tell them to stop it and leave the farm alone so I can finish this map lol
Hi Tom, have you done a video about why you clamp your grass instead of silage bales, also if not could you also do a video about what you see as the pros and cons of both processes please
City girl with a question… don’t you need to use up the old stuff first? I assumed you would’ve rotated last year’s cut so you could put the fresh stuff in the back. I guess that’s not necessary??? Very fun to watch. Thanks Tom & crew!
Whey do you wait so long from mowing till you lift it? 24hr’s is max especially if you ted it as the longer you leave it, the quality goes down hill. We have been involved in various grass testing for silage with our dairy department and lifting within 24hr’s is vital.
Maybe get the gravel bags and put around the edges. Saw you didn't use the houses on the side maybe need to think about putting in bigger gates in the new fields. Extend the gates out maybe find a place to put in a large gate for use with themachinery. Did it all in good time. With all the big nails you get you can use them on the machine you got you're Dad for Christmas! Look at the good side of things
10:11 The most beautiful is that there are still patches of forest. A farm isn't a farm if there isn't interesting dimensions left.
I'm a teacher in South Africa. It's a school holiday for 1 week ... between terms 3 and 4. These videos are my saving grace.
You always love life, Tom! I always enjoy watching you. Sing it loud!

Your gentleman's jokes crack me up, they are so bad I love them 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😍😍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Loved watching the tedder, drone shots and all of it. I do like harvest. Ta. Prayers to everyone.
My favorite farmers in the world of RUclips!!!! And I just love your wife, Tom. She is so lovely but doesn't mind getting on the farm and working. What a wonderful family!!!

Golf course entrance. Didn't have farm equipment in mind when installing the gate
Well-choregraphed. This was impressive to watch. I love the drone shots
Considering the hot and dry weather during the summer, managing a decent third cut is amazing.
You can use the tyres in road construction. Lay them flat and fill them with hard core, helps to stabilise the ground before top layer. There are RUclips videos showing how.
The music you have playing while collecting the grass makes me smile every time. I find the grass cutting, collection and storage, fascinating. :)
Loved all the machinery out working hard in the fields, you have great neighbors and friends Nice people always ready to lend a hand.
the picture of the shed the other day was great for a calendar and we grow whole crop and kale cows loves both of them
Great team of men all working together😀the job gets done efficiently 😋 great drone shots x
Super drone footage and lovely views of Lytham Hall.

I totally agree. Another 🇦🇺 watcher ❤
Funny! You call it Roly-poly. We call it summersault. I love it when I come across the different ways Scottish and English people describe things compared to how it’s said in US.
I love it. It’s like ballet for tractors ❤
You are happy and a little crazy today I love watching you 😂😂😂😂
I love watching the mower from the air. It looks like some creature from the bottom of the ocean.🙂🦑🦀
Tom my husband and I love following your videos. But we are Canadian,we can’t always understand everything you say, I thought I talked fast. Keep doing what you are doing! You should be very proud!
So the sub titles not helpV 🙈
Thank you ! 😁Would like it a thousand time's if I could. 9.43 just 😍😍😍😍 Perfect ! Get to see rowing , chopping , hauling all in one.
Watching the massive amount of grass being harvested, it's crazy to realize that the "stuff" it's made from mostly comes from the air.
Love all the kids in their little high vis vests!
My favorite type of video!!
Tedding and raking up are my favs to watch, although I'll watch any machines at work. The first time I ever saw asphalt being heated before being topped it was on my very own street. Another great video Tom great drone footage good pit work with the jcb. Your dad is doing a good job rolling the pit 👍👍🇬🇧🏴
Recommend by hoof gp. I’m a hard time with your accent ( when you speak fast)but never the less i am enjoying your content. Very interesting and great team work.
"You've got loads this side" 🤣🤣 at least 10cm!! What a driver.
Loved the video.. good way to end the workweek and start the weekend. Have a great one Tom!
I LOVE watching y’all collect the grass. It’s so pretty.
I never thought that I would think a tractor is sexy, but I do. Perhaps it’s time to go to the ag expo this year, it’s been over 40 years since I’ve been.
Well done Tom. Thanks for sharing
One of my favorite events on the farm.
Get a chain for the pto shaft for the keenan, £7.00 and 2 minutes is alot cheaper than your limb or your life
Good advice
When ya going to be sticking arm around a PTO on a Keenan?
Can't think of a time I did besides connecting/disconnecting.
Load, mix/grind , empty
Fuck that pto in the scrap pile and put a good wide angle shaft on instead, all feeders should come standard with them. It's desperate hard on tractors starting and stopping them when they are loaded
Its usally where the chain clips to that breaks not the chain
@@themeparkkieran4573 then breaks again a couple weeks later after you make a new hole .....
Fantastic drone footage
Love that song too Tom, nice singing 😉
Hi Tom, just been watching a video on RUclips of cutting corn(maize) for silage in USA on Engelscoachshop, usually he makes or restores old wooden wagons but this time he was helping truck to the clamp.
Your shots are amazing tom great video, you and Olly are the best channels
Tom the gentle giant
A very good Saturday morning to you all from Wellington Somerset
It's all goooooooo... Nice work sir. liz is doing a grand job on that trailer. 😉😆. Stay safe 🏴
Tom, your dad should come up with a unique mixed drink so we can all call it a "Ginge and tonic". 😁😁
Love the drone footage and how you pick the music out that is awesome it goes good with the footages . Nahhh it’s not our gates and the grass is a bonus 😊
@@TomPembertonFarmLife oh okay I see

Hi Georgia I do hope your safe over there in Florida with all these dangerous hurricanes etc 🙏
Puddles, ponds and pools of rain water are draining off. We have another month of possible tropical storms before we start our dry season then we get rain when frontal systems go through.
Agreed, awesome edit and sound track - keep up the good work!
At least you got a third cut. Great film. That's it for this year.
Your right, have to be happy with some thing 🙈
congrats on getting harvest done glad it was uneventful and everyone safe
Loving the video and they are incredible keep up the hard work
Thank you 😊
Very jealous of the log pile you have seen on the drone video, guessing that's from the tree surgeon family member, and going for crazy money now.
Feed looks great, loved the team work shame about the golf course, off to plan B
Show more drone shots please they show how good the farm is looking.👍👍😁👏❤️
Thanks for sharing your vids with us!
Oh, that clamp unrolling itself on the jcb was cool!
Lovely. nice to get it in . Some fine looking gear. The trailers look very well.
being a townie, I thought you just put the cows out to graze and bring them just to milk them, then send them out again. Until I found your video's I didn't have a clue about anything else.!!!!! thank you Tom and the team.

Hey Tom. Love the chopping videos always. Especially with the new Hiirliman.
If you’d have checked with me first, I’d have reminded you about the gravel bags. 😎
Loved this video. Amazing watching the clamp & what goes into it.
You never think you need to grow so much grass for the winter I am just amazed
Hi Tom why don’t you use side sheets on the clamp? We find it massively reduces wastage especially in the back corners which I know you struggle with
Stopped using side sheets here, gravel bags along by the wall and waste is minimal. Not worth the effort of side sheets imo
Use both, little bit extra work but well worth it, especially at the cost of silage
This is the best part of the year on Tom's channel, Watching a video with a forager & some tractors with trailer to cart with silage
A certain Mr Cornock would give his right arm for your 3rd cut right now. Don't suppose leaving it a bit long will do any harm in protecting it to get going again in the few decent days that will be left this year to grow a bit.
I was gona say Ginge looked really smart in new shirt, then he covers it in tyre goo!
Really enjoying this channel, hoof gp recommended you and he wasn't wrong 😀 I'm loving it .
Fantastic 3rd cut my brother 💙👌🏻🚜
This has been a great video Tom, Team Work. Loved it x
Great video well done to you all great team work.
Instead of diluted it's becoming more concentrated. Just for future references 💪
Your dad has even put his new shirt on for us today 😎
Great video. Love the music and drone footage. 👍👍😁❤️
I love the way I don’t mind bringing in about 1000 big bales a year and love it but Tom hates the thought of 60 😂
😂
I had good time viewing you have a good time 😁
I love the "ginge and tonic" ...
Looks not that bad considering the wheather this year.
One local farm who grows produce, brings in Skip Jack Tuna to make tuna fish salad. they sell beef from nearby farms, milk and a bunch of ther things including pies.

Superb drone footage - seminal
You shouldn't "reverse backwards " before breakfast. Love the music. Fields looking great after you've collected the hay.
We fill up 5 huge bunks with corn silage. You guys should grow corn to so you can have corn silage to.
Now that’s team work
I love these videos as I get to find new music 🎶
Hi Tom, have you done a video about why you clamp your grass instead of silage bales, also if not could you also do a video about what you see as the pros and cons of both processes please

Afternoon Tom from a very wet day in Ireland
I hope ya'll keep the Hurlimann! It's definitely a cool looking beast!
Maybe get the gravel bags and put around the edges. Saw you didn't use the houses on the side maybe need to think about putting in bigger gates in the new fields. I must say I'm rather impressed watching you maneuver that trailer around, just going around corners like it's nbd.
So good so far 👍
Tom You should tell us what the mix is for your cows, Great video!
Great vid, the Massys looked great.
