Great video! I was following along with the score and noticed that in m. 5 there are some stemless snare notes. I see you aren’t playing any snare there so I was wondering if those notes are just to show the HH melody? Why are they stemless, and why would the composer include them if they aren’t to be played?

Is this from the "Festival Repertoire for Drum Set Book?" a different book, or is it a solo publication?
I'm not even sure it's from a book. I've only ever seen it as a individually printed solo
