This game scares me as well, but I love exploring and looting. The orbs that you have to throw the ribbon rounds at has caused many of my deaths in game haha
I love scary games...but I can only play them occasionally, or for a while. So happy to hear this is scary. Alien : Isolation is the most terrifying game I know, and that's on a flatscreen. But I MUST play it in VR...and will soon. Monstrum, is the scariest I can handle and is probably my favourite all time horror game. It has replay, the way eg Resident Evil doesn't. The engine room, is always especially terrifying: it's like Freddy Kruger's hangout. No lights right on the bottom level, if you keep going lower. Procedurally generated, so you're always perpetually lost and there is no map. You have no choice but to explore, because you'll die if you stay in one place too long. One of three monsters spawns in after a couple of minutes, so you're safe until then. My favourite, is the ghost: which makes electronics short circuit, torches start flickering and going weak, lights down a corridor you're looking down, start turning off one by one.
