2016 was a really great year. For everyone. Gas prices were low, everyone had jobs, there was little to no unemployment. 2016 was the great boom of the Century. Long live the Cubs!
2016. That might be the greatest year of my life. I remember that Game 7, the lead off homer by Fowler, Rajai Davis’ two run shot (darn it!), Zobrist and Montero delivering in the 10th, and the immortal Kris Bryant getting it to the immortal Anthony Rizzo for that final out. God I loved that team.

Coulda had 2 or 3 It was like they peaked early in 15 when they werent suppose to til 16 well they won it all in 16 and never re captured that form. And then 4 year later they traded them all away. SHoulda Kept at least one of the core guys. But it is what it is. GO cubs Go

Hey as a cubs fan I went 20+ years to see it. The ones before me went 108 ! One day you’ll get to see it! My dad always promised me that he didn’t care what anyone said he knew he’d see his cubbies win the big one before his time was up! Might be a long time but it definitely can happen.
Been a die hard Cub fan since 1960. Loved Ron Santo and all the other Cub greats Had wonderful memories, taking the L Train and paying I believe it was $ 3.75 for a bleacher seat. Also a lot of heartaches. Sadly haven't watched them the last two years wokeism and cancel culture have ruined the game as it has done in all the other professional sports as well.
Theo is the baddest MFer ever! Cubs (my team always) would've been sweeping the basement of the Central perpetually had he not come aboard. Changed the entire dynamics of the organization, let alone what he'd already done in Boston. A friggin winner to be sure...
