If the last step doesn't work:
    - Make sure you turn the bottom face instead of turning the whole cube to get the next piece
    - Finish the 4 moves (don't stop at 3)
If you still manage to solve the yellow side but ruin the white side, you might have a twisted piece that you will have to fix by twisting it or taking the cube apart.
(To know for sure, the last step requires you to repeat the 4 moves either a total of 6 times or 12 times. If you get a different total, like 8, then you need to physically twist a piece)

Dude, this is the best 2x2 tutorial I've found online. You make the 'theory' simple, and aren't just focused on "memorize these 9x moves and repeat them until you have achieved success". I was actually able to "look at the cube", find the colour I wanted, and was able to "move it" where it needed to be thanks to you! Appreciate this!

That would probably take me a few hours to figure out. Then just flipped the pieces like you did, but I am used to having the yellow up, so it is inverted. It is easier/faster to see the yellow aligned like this.

Hey! I learned how to solve 3x3 for the first time using the Yao method. It also works for this one especially at the end when you do the corners. I was watching this one just in case I couldn't solve it. I was half way and then I realized 😮 I think I know what to do. By doing the elevator corner move I solved it in a matter of seconds. Great videos! ❤

When you see that it's actually a "circle", you'll understand. I don't mean to make it sound more complicated, but if you heard him say that "you may have to do this up to five times..." it's because the sixth time brings you right back where you started. There's an even faster way if you just went left instead of right, but the purpose of his video was to keep it as simple as possible (one algorithm). I teach WITHOUT using algorithms. I want people to see what the "algorithm" is actually doing to the pieces. Cubing is a blast, 7x7 is my next challenge! Have fun, and good luck!

Only been cubing for 1 week. (following your vids brought solving 3x3 time down from 25+ mins to avg 5 mins in 1 week) Loving the challenge of getting better, and feel fairly confident that the basics can now extrapolate to any cube size....
