- Paint can storage solution a DIY shop woodworking project.
In this video Lisa and I show how to make an incredible wall hung paint can storage solution. This project is made from MDF but can be made of any sheet material you choose. The storage project is created using one 1/4-inch flat end mill so no need for a tool change. The project uses mortise and tenon joints for easy assembly, if done correctly there is no need for glue. The cut files are available on the CNC with me group web site. Check out CNC with me with the link below for a discount off your membership.

With storing these spray paint cans, just make sure you put them in the upright position within a year as I have found that any longer there are problems, or, unless you have a paint can shaker. Two of my cans refused to spray and both were new unused, just saying, either use them up or possible problems.
I got a free TV armoire in the back of the shop. It holds my paints, glues and batteries. It has a small electric heater for winter to keep the inside above freezing. I'm thinking of these on drawer slides for the rattle cans.
Great idea!
The controller plunger is called a “joystick” for future reference.
Thanks I’m old lol hahaha
