    Mahindra Veero Highlights
    The commercial vehicle sector is introducing new-age technologies that can enhance logistical and supply chain business efficiency, significantly. The newly launched Mahindra Veero - light commercial vehicle, is no different. It features a tested and proven powertrain and onboard gizmos crafted to improve fleet performance.
    Speaking of the Mahindra Veero truck, the vehicle is constructed on Mahindra’s “Urban Prosper Platform”, with the brand having plans to offer three different models based on different fuel configurations: Diesel, CNG and Electric. Although the electric model is yet to be showcased, Mahindra has already launched its diesel counterpart with unique features.
    By unique features, we mean first-in-segment aggregates designed to set high safety standards and protect occupants in the event of a collision. This includes the integration of a driver airbag, a reverse parking assistance system, a driver headrest, parking sensors and chassis built out of high-strength steel with a 65 percent increase in rigidity.
    As for comfort, the vehicle has a 26.03 cm touchscreen infotainment system, power windows, steering-mounted controls, a digital instrument cluster with telematics display functionality, and A/C, among others. Additionally, the diesel vehicle is equipped with a powerful mDI engine suitable for carrying payloads of up to 1600 kg.

    Mahindra Veero Powertrain
    The Mahindra Veero diesel truck is offered in two different powertrain models as of now. It gets a 1.5-litre mDI diesel engine that produces 59.7 kW (80 hp) and 210 Nm of torque and a Turbo mCNG engine that produces a power figure of 67.2 kW (90.1 hp) and 210 Nm of torque. Both these powertrains are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
    In terms of mileage, the diesel counterpart of the Mahindra Veero delivers 18.4 kmpl, while the CNG variant offers 19.2 km/kg fuel efficiency. Some of the advanced features designed to improve Veero’s performance and efficiency include an engine stop-start system, driver fuel coaching, and Eco mode. For improving ride quality and stability, the vehicle is also outfitted with semi-elliptical leaf spring suspension at the front and rear.
    Mahindra Veero Specifications
    The Veero is offered in two fuel types (Diesel and CNG); two cargo lengths (3035 mm and 2765 mm); and three cargo types (Standard Deck, High Deck, and CBC) to cater to different business requirements. Further, the vehicle comes with a certified D+2 seating arrangement and a payload capacity of 1,600 kg, with the option of a 1.5-litre mDI diesel engine, and a 1500 kg payload capacity with the option of Turbo mCNG engine model.
