Remembering Eddie Middleton today. This wonderful man who had been a witness to us many years ago. The front man for New Song from 1981-1994. My wife and I were involved with a ministry on the Alabama Gulf Coast that brought in contemporary Christian music acts to our area. We had brought in the original New Song many times at least a half a dozen times, to the area. This is back when Eddie Middleton and the late Bobby apon were with the band. At that time there were four members. Eddie is resting with the Lord today. Please pray for his family and loved ones who have been left behind thank you.
Watched this particular video today for the first time (even though I'd heard the song many months ago.)Tthis song always made me think of myself and my relationship with my youngest son, J. We haven't spoken in so many (too many ) years. I continue to pray for God to keep you safe and mindful of His unending love and mercy. I ask God to one day bring you back to me, and to your family who loves you.
I can relate to this. It was my oldest son. I prayed relentlessly, and after many years, he called me. Long story short, we met up and I found he had changed, but for the worse. It was a disaster! Now I step back, pray from a distance, and hope that one day my son will truly come home.
Can you please please please post your song "Cherish". I love it! I heard it on a galaxy channel today, it touched my heart not only because that is the name my loving parents gave me, but its just such a beautiful song!
