There's a new loot option in I think mod settings "Better Loot UI" which lets you sell mech parts straight from the loot screen, plus see the prices again which for some reason were hidden in 1.0. It's very nice!
The skylifter and a slow assault mech equal fast assault mech. Something to think about. Get that annihilator across the battlefield fast as a light mech.
I just played this and accidentally picked up my Nightstar with 2 x Clan and 2 x Light Gauss Rifles ........... Death flies! The Skylifter is amazing! After playing with it a little bit now my Joermungandr goes for a ride every mission.
Black Knight's make a good melee mech. The S7 variant has the melee actuators perk making that one potentially the best version to look out for. They are big enough to pack a punch and to be relevant into the late game (to warrant the investment) but small enough to move quite well when you install a 375+ engine in them.
Its an axman so heavier at 65 tons, but I took the Red Corsair Flashpoint with tons of clan opponents and my Axman literally carried me, I might not have completed the deployment without it. Stacked as much ECM on it, juggernaut gyro, and it was just murdering fools and making them unsteady for follow-on damage, and taking very little return damage.
First time a did that Flashpoint, I had a fully fledged Daishi (Dire Wolf) and transportet him around with the Skylifter.4 Gauss from the sky pewpewpew..... U can shoot with the mech hooked up, btw.

I believe after the hilarious amount of headshots today, your team has told you what it wants to do. You have to focus on pure headshot builds. Be they Melee or ranged. Do a pugilist headshotter, build a ppc beast. The Skylifter has the word Lifter as part of its name for a reason: Try picking up an enemy mech and dump it - causing massive leg damage, unsteadiness and loss of evasion - right in front of your line of fire. Great way to take out even the hardest enemy models
Bara, I am pretty sure you need to buy Battle Armor unless you manage to run that one Robotech based Flashpoint. With the changes to both BA and vehicles, it is worth playing around with them. If you manage to find an APC that can hold 2-3 BA units inside it, it will correct the problems with both units (BA are slow to move around the map, APC has little weaponry). I managed to find an APC that can house 3 BA units. I have the C-Rider Destroyers and 2 Gnomes loaded in it. I loaded them all up with Gauss and PPC weapons to go with the APC's 1 medium laser and SRM-2. Since the APC is a hover vehicle, I have managed to get behind so many enemies and unload the BA weapons to backstike them.

Baradul the simple delivery man? That would be a huge loss for us. I'm not sure if it works in Rouguetech, but try holding SHIFT when you reserve if you really want the enemy to go first.
yeah skylifter can lift enemies wich makes them really easy to shoot jst wacthout stray shots to lifter lol and it damages enemies legs when droped down... it can lift allies also but don´t know how it works with allies does it still damage to frienly units legs etc.. its not that great, but it can be helfull at early game when you don´t have many air units... (and if i remember right if enemy units is lifted it can´t shoot or just direction its facing... its weird little unit lol) also if you can back out of mech slection you can go back to mech bay and repair units etc just remember not to take too long so flash points day limit is not passed lol (well its usually 100+ days if its fresh so you have long time usually..)
I found a (p) version rac 2 that does 102 damage but shred like the lbx it's fun. Since I run a MG array with AP rotary medium laser srm 4 or 6 can't remember and srm 2

During a Flashpoint if you can access the Mech Bay you can move the date along, not need for that third consecutive deployment.
Skylifter is all about being a nasty flying turret mount for your mech of choice. Like a LAM upgrade right? Just costs a vehicle slot and pilot?
A Grasshopper with torso Disco lasers, and melee/jump jets build sounds scary.
Imagine picking up an APC with two units of BA inside the APC.

Melee Mechs work in the DUEL Maps and in CITY Maps.
Aye on a HTH mech, you have a good starting mech, just build it in the long hall.
I might be a fun way to start legging enemy mechs. Hopefully, it will be more effective than taking out a knee with an Arrow.
I found that on this Flash point that the mech you are carrying can still fire. You CAN rest between them. I did.
Rest isn't a problem; repair, however.
You could build that Nightsky and use the lifter to ferry it into melee.
