Miss these buses. Sounds silly but I wish I could ride these one last time

Man my childhood. 900 was my last time riding this model bus back in 2013. I'm thankful this bus 848 and 942 and 978 have survived. But how come 848 is still in service. I know it CNG tank should have expired long or did it get recertified?

848 was sold to a Private Company in Brooklyn. The Bus has expired CNG Tanks but it's still runnable. Having a CNG Bus with expired tanks does not always make it extremely hazardous. The expiration of those tanks are to let the owner(s) know that the material will not stay fresh on the tanks after the expiration date and to be more cautious with the vehicle as any possible hazardous situations can happen.

+TheMikeTransit Oh okay! Got it! I wish MTA could of at least saved one of the retired Orion V CNGs. 9849 was the very last one which ended the MTA Orion v cng era. But oh well
