I've actually seen the Harley Thomas video, compiling every single track of the build, but some songs are incorrect in the way you listen them. In-Game versions of these tracks, includes sounds that plays constantly, if you go deeper in game, or wain a certain amount of time, and it may be incidental by glitches, or in porpouse with the "Wario Apparition". This is because Harley used recordings from the Sound-Test, or maybe used In-Game versions instead of compiling the OST or MIDI files from the original Build... I decided to recreate some of the tracks, since some MIDI files are corrupted, and can't be recreated that easy. If you want to know how i got a Copy of this "CURSED" Build, DON'T! Do not research! It is as cursed as you may think or heard, so it's better if you actually don't know nothig about it.
This is Peach's Castle music of the Build, also known as "Inside The Castle Walls" in the final game, which also was named like that in the LOST Build. This souds like a slower and depressing version of the original, but it's still relaxing somehow. In addition, this theme still plays if you go to the backyard, which is weird to be honest. In this Build, the castle and the backyard are all in Black and White as the images shows, but was later coloured for the public. Many weird or creepy stuff happens if you go deeper in the castle, such as paintings moving by themselves, Boos appearing randomlly, etc. Last thing to mention, the castle originally was going to have 4 floors (the basement does not count), meaning that it's possible to get more than 120 stars. I couldn't get ther by myself, but if any of you have the Build, check that out for me...

this version feels like sanity or self-esteem is slowly slipping away, it also feels like you're alone with no one around
Basically it feels like depression
I think that feels like when you slowly look behind... There's a disturbing mario, with no eyes, and a scary wide (maybe bloody) mouth,
And something like that...
this is the same exact theme just slowed down like theres no difference
The princess waited and she waited
Her soul trapped within the stained glass unable to be set free by kameks magic
and the vessel the princess once known started to fade in a eerie blackness behind Mario's mind as he tries to find where Bowser is after the first boss fight.
He is nowhere to be found
He's taken over, it was a false victory, for the plumber but devastating win for the king of all koopas because even though the plumber has the key to the next level, the stars are gone
Bowser had taken them, the koopa king fled his escape while Mario was distracted after the first battle thinking he had one and gathered such power from the stars and had left, there is nothing
No stars
No way to get to each room sealed by magic of the loyal kamek
The princess is forever trapped noway to be saved, though she wants Mario to shatter the stained glass to be let out
Mario doesn't have the heart to
As it feels as if he would destroy her knowing something might occur
Forever the plumber sits alone hearing the soft haunting cries of the princess to let her free

Nah, just remove all lighting around you, explore the castle with this at probably 0.5-0.75 speed. Creepy possibly.
The song being this way sounds like being in an echoey white tiled bathroom where you get cleaned really good

I just realized something: The castle that we see in Super Mario 64 DS has the same build as the castle we see in 3:41. In the DS version, the stained glass window is present (and much larger), but the walls leading to the buttresses are flat as they are in the beta we see in 3:41. The bridge, too, is also curved, just like in the beta photos. Why did Nintendo use the beta build of Peach's castle for the DS game?

@@jackbluepirate87 Good point. They fit in a lot more game in the DS remake, so it would make sense to cut some corners.
@@TheRealCamster1987 I've seen some people actually theorize that the DS game is what SM64 was going to be before they had to cut things for time. So maybe they used an earlier build of the game to make SM64DS?

Every time I play this game, something is…different. Enemies in different places. Stars being in a different order. I didn’t come across nothing like Wario but…Damn that’s creepy

Something feels different from the original. the original didnt have audio from the game, it was audio from recording.
Put it in 1.5x and it sounds like the original but more lower pitched but it's not slowed down

I feel like I'm lost in the castle. Like some vivid dream where the castle is impossibly large or every door leads back to this room. Lost and trapped. It's a very surreal feeling.
Very nice. I appreciate having a full extraction of the song.
This version is creepy and nostalgic in a way that you've seen it in a dream. Like a liminal spaced dream. The black and white emphasizes the feeling more. The music just fit for that built dream, and that's why it's unsettling. You're alone. That's what the game is. Everyone is trapped inside the walls, and it's just you with only a few Toads. It's empty and scary.
At 1.75x speed it sounds normal-ish

The original one gives me comfort, I could say that the Peach Castle in Mario 64 is one of my "Happy Places"

This theme in slowed version it makes me feel just like i'm in the backrooms in peach's castle, i don't know why, but i feel that something is watching me and chasing me.
