- Krishnadhwani is music that evokes Lord Krishna and his divine flute. This album comprises a collection of live recordings by the greatest living flautist, Hariprasad Chaurasia, performing traditional ragas. Raga Des is one such ragas and belongs to the Khamaj thaat. The musical compositions in this Raag bear the Shadja-Pancham (S-P) and Shadja-Madhyam (S-m) Bhava and therefore very pleasing and essentially melodic.

i miss my nanaji he always play like sir, named MR SHIDAS friend of USTAAD BISHMILLAH KHAN but never gone through social sites and did not get fame like sir,one more nanaji(nani's brother) named PANDIT KRISHNA RAM CHAUDHARY lived in varanasi they play very sweet also my mamaji named RAJESH GAUTAM programme officer in aakashwani posted in varanasi play all instrument like tabla flute shehnai sitar harmonium etc.
whenever i listen classical music and instrument i feel my childhood,when mamaji on flute nanaji on shenayi bhaiya on tabla chote bhaiya on surpeti etc.
wo mahaul bahot yaad aata hai.
i miss my nanaji very much.
main abhi bhi bajata hu bansuri to sochta hu ki kash mere nanaji abhi hamare bich hote.

In classical music we have to play tabla if there is another instrument also
For younger, new listeners who need help getting into the headspace and theater of the mind for this piece: if you've played the video game Rock Band, try to imagine yourself as the vocalist's cursor that's moving while going up and down to match the notes. Only now, imagine that each short musical phrase or group of three or more notes is dense and rich with emotional information. Look at each little phrase and ask yourself what it feels like. This Raga in particular is one that really lends itself to little musical phrases that put in mind hope and beauty that is tinged with sadness and humility.
This is a part of my daily yoga session.... Such a awesome performance. It makes my day always. Thank you so much 💛💛

This is my all time favourite piece.... And I am truly blessed to hear the same raag live by Panditji. However a small grouse... I wish Pt. Anindo Chatterjee was given due credit as well in the video title and description.
Music belongs to everyone their are more musicians in TamilNadu and Northern India than in one Bengal so let’s leave the sir name and credit pettiness and think what blessing music rag desh is not owned by a Rishimuni give them the credit whatmukherjee and chaterjee has to do with Hindustani ..??
